Determined to share their live dealer content globally, Microgaming adds another license jurisdiction to its list. Microgaming is a top online casino gaming manufacturer and has one of the largest live dealer platforms online. The firm serves countries across the globe via multiple licenses that give casino player access to live table games in English-speaking countries such as the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Holland, and South Africa while also maintaining a multi-language platform that supports multiple European languages.

Germany is legalizing gambling at online casinos and poker sites on the 1st of July 2021, but with some very strict regulations in place, and Microgaming have stated that they welcome and accept these changes as they prepare themselves to offer their extensive collection of casino games to the German market.

The country was a long way off legalizing online gambling, but finally, the government caved to growing pressure on the premise that the country put comprehensive regulations in place. Live dealer suites that operate under brands in European online casinos will soon have permission to operate legally their live casinos after agreeing to the new German laws.

Currently, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is the only licensing authority that protects German players that play live roulette, live blackjack and other live casino games. The same licensing authority covers players in Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa, as well as many other markets that do not have a localized remote casino licensing authority.

In theory, German live casino players will have the same bet limits available to them as they would prior to new German online gambling laws. On the other hand, new German regulations state that there is a 1 EUR maximum bet when playing slots and a mandatory five-second interval between spins.

For all online casino players, including live dealer games, players can make maximum deposits of 1,000 EUR. Those are some of the strictest regulations in the world when compared to other countries where online gambling is legal such as the UK where the UKGC allows casinos free rein of their accepted bet limit, while the UKGC imposes strict rules on the casinos to ensure compliance with UK law.

Microgaming Launches German Jurisdiction Ready Platform

Online casinos and poker rooms alongside casino game developers such as Microgaming have to agree to these regulations before they can offer their products to German consumers. Designed to help promote social responsibility and limit the inevitable increase in gambling addiction, Germany is standing firm on these regulations.

Microgaming has gone one step further than just accepting these regulations – the developer actively welcomes and supports them. Also, keen to get a foothold in the German online gambling market, Microgaming understands the need for these stricter guidelines and is happy to adhere to them.

In fact, they have already been working on a solution that will ensure their games all conform to these regulations.

In a Microgaming press release on October 12, as of yesterday, Microgaming put in place its German compliance model so any online casinos hosting Microgaming games will enter the market ready to go. Microgaming stated that they will configure over 150 of their slot games to conform to these regulations.

Responsible for the first online casino to hit the Web, Microgaming is the oldest online casino developer / platform in the industry. Founded in 1994, Microgaming has created over 600 casino games and has become one of the most recognizable names among players around the world. Their games are available for over 120 different online casinos and displayed in two dozen languages.

Microgaming is not only famous for its entourage of online slots but also its popular live dealer games played by live casino table gamers in countries such as Canada, the UK, South Africa and New Zealand.

These players have access to popular classic casino table games streamed live from a studio. Using high definition webcams and streaming technology, their live dealer products have been as well-received as their large slots collection. Live dealer games involve professionally trained dealers that manage the games, deal cards and spin the wheel on games such as Blackjack, Baccarat, and Roulette. Players see the action via the stream using their mobile or desktop device and place their bets using an overlay interface on the screen.

Among their most popular live dealer games is Multi-Player Roulette, Blackjack with Bet Behind, and Sic Bo.
