However, the software keeps track by displaying your score. While the split hand still receives cards, the next card out counts towards your ‘un-split’ hand score regardless of which ‘split hand’ the dealer places the card.

Tip: You should always split 7-7 on a 4-8 deck table if the dealer’s up-card is lower than an 8!

Dealer Continues to Play Out the Hand After You Stand

Another tell tale sign that there are other players on the table is when you ‘stand’ and the dealer continues to ‘hit’. If you were playing at a private table, when you choose ‘stand’, the house would immediately turn over the face-down cards and proceed to settle the hand.
