A day after announcing 2 new Speed Baccarat titles and Pragmatic Play Live One Blackjack official release is announced. Live casinos connected to the live casino software manufacturer will begin showcasing the title immediately!

One Blackjack is Pragmatic Play Live’s third blackjack title, adding to its Blackjack Azure and its original Live Blackjack table. So, the leading question is what makes the Live One Blackjack title different or special compared to the brand’s existing options?

One Blackjack Unlimited: Unlimited tables have no limit on the number of players that can join the table. In the case of Live One Blackjack, every player plays the same hand!

Unlimited Feature Means No Queues

The first distinguishing feature of the new Live One Blackjack table is that this table uses an unlimited feature. On the Blackjack Azure and Live Blackjack tables, there is a 7-seat limit so when all seats are occupied, Pragmatic Play needs to open a new table with a new dealer.

When you join the table, the stream will provide you with a unique betting panel and a private seat. When you place your bets, you will only see your chips on the table. Meanwhile, there could be 100s of other players sitting at the same table, also placing bets via their unique betting panels.

In essence, this table looks and feels like you are playing at a private VIP table with you as the centre of attention. Plus, with the unlimited feature, Pragmatic Play can save live studio space as the table number runs out of seats so there is no need to open a new table as with the 7-seat versions.

Dealer Continues to Split After You Select Stand

Another point to make is that every player on the table is playing the same hand as you. This creates situations whereby you will ‘stand’ but play will continue.

For instance, if a ‘pair’ of 9s comes out and you ‘stand’, but the dealer still ‘splits’. Now the 9-9 hand is usually a much disputed one amongst blackjack players. Some prefer not to ‘split’, especially if the dealer’s face-up card is an A or 10. While others religiously split this hand.

Now let us imagine that you decide not to split because the dealer’s up-card is a 10 (wise decision). However, even when you indicate to the dealer you choose to ‘Stand’, on the Live One Blackjack table, you may have situations whereby the dealer will still split the 9-9 into 2 hands. Why?

That split action is a result of other players on the table. Therefore, you will need to wait for the dealer to finish the ‘split hands’ on behalf of the other players on the table that made a ‘split’ decision before your hand shows down versus the dealer’s. All the while the split hand is being settled, your hand remains in its ‘stand’ status.

Basic Strategy Tips: Always use a basic strategy chart when you play blackjack. By using these mathematically proven formulas, you will play exactly according to the house edge. This is one of the techniques used by the famous MIT card counting teams back in the late 70s!

Dealer Continues to Split After You Select Hit

In a similar situation to the 9-9 above, you may have a hand such as 7-7. Now some players prefer to ‘split’ this hand regardless of the dealer’s up-card. However, on the Live One Blackjack tables, the right move is to ‘Hit’ 7-7 when the dealer’s up-card is 8, 9, 10, or A (which is according to 4-8 deck basic strategy regardless of H17 or S17 rules.

Nonetheless, you will hit, and the dealer will split the hand, regardless. This can look complex because you are still playing the 7-7 hand. However, the software keeps track by displaying your score. While the split hand still receives cards, the next card out counts towards your ‘un-split’ hand score regardless of which ‘split hand’ the dealer places the card.

Tip: You should always split 7-7 on a 4-8 deck table if the dealer’s up-card is lower than an 8!

Dealer Continues to Play Out the Hand After You Stand

Another tell tale sign that there are other players on the table is when you ‘stand’ and the dealer continues to ‘hit’. If you were playing at a private table, when you choose ‘stand’, the house would immediately turn over the face-down cards and proceed to settle the hand.

Conversely, on the Live One Blackjack table, you will need to wait for the hand to finish as other players finish their ‘hit’ moves. In the meantime, the betting software will display the fact that your decision was to ‘stand’ along with the hand total at the time of your decision.

Side Bets & Rules on One Blackjack Live

The final difference is the side bets and the ‘Six Card Charlie’ rule. Each Live Blackjack table produced by Pragmatic Play Live has side bet options, while the One Blackjack table has some new side bets. You will also notice that the Live Blackjack and Blackjack Azure tables have a ‘Bet Behind’ feature, which is for players waiting to sit at the table as neither of these tables uses the ‘Unlimited’ feature. One of the side bets gives players the opportunity to win a 2,000x multiplier!

Six Card Charlie: If you have 6 cards in your hand, your hand auto automatically wins as long the sixth card does not ‘bust’ the hand!
