Quickspin Releases Big Bad Wolf Live Game Show

Game show thrill-seekers have their eyes open on the hunt for a live dealer platform that will take on the Big Wolf live casino title by Quickspin.

The Playtech-owned platform released news of its intention to take the live casino games scene by storm back in February this year covered in the ‘Quickspin Enters the Live Casino Vertical’ news piece.

We have had a bit of wait on our hands since that 15 February 2023 announcement. However, a little over 5 months on and we are excited to announce that the Big Wolf Live Casino Wheel of Fortune game show is here.

And there is a major difference between this game versus other Wheel of Fortune live entertainment gameshows. This version comes with a ‘Buy Feature’. Yes, that’s right. You can buy your way into the bonus game. I have to say, I am surprised none of the other major live game show developers like Evolution, Playtech, or Pragmatic Play Live thought of this first.

As for access to Big Bad Wolf live, I was expecting to find the game available at major live casinos like LeoVegas, but for now, I can’t. I’ve emailed Quickspin directly and hopefully, the company will clarify a bit further.

The Gameplay on Big Bad Wolf Live

Like other live casino game shows, this is a Wheel of Fortune with numbers as multipliers and the chance to land a Big Bad Wolf Bonus round.

Bonus Buy: If you prefer to skip all the drama of spinning, then you can get involved using a buy bonus feature for just 40x your spin bet. This is a communal Live Bonus game, so it is separate from the main game. You simply click to buy a bonus and then wait for the next bonus round to come around.

The Big Bad Wolf Live Bonus Feature

There are two stages to the bonus feature. The cascading symbols game and then another Wheel of Fortune game.

• Stage 1: Collecting multipliers into pots on a cascading grid

Once you trigger the bonus, the ensuing game is like the jackpot re-spin rounds you will find on fixed jackpot games. It uses cascading reels on an 8×8 grid and symbols, which are a mix of ‘Pigs’ and ‘Wolves’, and each of them has a multiplier attached.

At the bottom of the grid are pots. There is a blue pot, a green pot, and a red pot. The idea is to collect pigs and wolves in these pots as symbols cascade through the grid. There are ‘3 Tries’ which means 3 cascades to collect multipliers on the grid. At the end of the game, one of the pots of multipliers will become the winning pot that takes you into the next stage of the game.

• Stage 2: Deciding which pot you win

Once the cascading bonus ends, the Wolf Wheel Game is the last stage of the bonus. The live game show host will spin the wheel with three little pigs representing the 3 coloured pots. The win from the main bonus games has a 1x to 3x multiplier added depending on the colour the spin land on. Landing on the special Wolf segment triggers a win for all colours, boosted by a ‘Wolf Multiplier’ of 1x, 2x, or 7x.
