Pragmatic Play Blackjack X RNG

In this Pragmatic Play Blackjack X review in our Livecasinocentral news we explore the game and the type of players it could attract!

Pragmatic Play’s Blackjack X recently released a new version. I think this is the brand’s way of introducing a 3D multi-camera view live casino into the RNG world to compete with Evolution’s First-Person games. It comes with a 99.28% RTP, which is not the highest compared to our top blackjack RTP games review.

What does the release of Blackjack X indicate for the future?

My educated guess is that Baccarat X, Roulette X, Dragon Tiger X, and even Mega Ball X titles are to join the RNG collection to compete with Evolution. I do already know there is an Azure Blackjack X and Blackjack Ruby version of the new game, which was not made clear in the official Pragmatic Play news report releasing the game – ‘PRAGMATIC PLAY REDEFINES BLACKJACK’.

First-person games give players a 3D rendering virtual table environment with a ‘Go Live’ button so players can head to live games. I suspect Pragmatic Play’s new ‘X’ line of games is the same deal. However, Blackjack X is slightly different because there is no ‘Go Live’ option, and the game plays out in exactly the same way as a live dealer game, but with no dealer.

Blackjack X Explained

The game operates using a random number generator (RNG). If you are unfamiliar with the pace of live blackjack games, then Blackjack X is great for beginners. As with most RNG games, you can play at any pace. There is no clock between betting rounds, and there is a tool to rewind your previous hand. This is perfect if you are testing out your basic strategy and don’t want the time constraints of live dealer betting rounds to interfere.

Learning to play blackjack on RNG tables is the best way to familiarise yourself with the game. I’ll explain more in the next section ‘Who is Blackjack X For?’. You can also learn the rules of Blackjack here.

Who is Blackjack X For?

The new Blackjack X game suits a range of target audiences. From the top of my head, here are four sets of players who may be interested in trying the game.

  1. Those who play RNG Blackjack and want to start playing live blackjack.
  2. Those who play RNG Blackjack and want a more realistic experience.
  3. Players who want a break from live action and just want to play blackjack on a table that gives them the look and feel of live dealer gaming.

Who is Blackjack X Not For?

Although this is an RNG game, there may be some misconceptions that the gameplay unfolds in the same way as any other RNG blackjack table. However, this is not your average RNG game.

  1. Not for players who want to play an RNG blackjack game with no constraints between betting rounds
  2. Players that prefer to play S17 DAS rules
  3. Players who prefer to play blackjack games with less than 8 decks in the shoe
  4. Card counters – there is a cutting card that will come out and change the show. This happens quite regularly.

These are just a few reasons I can think of that make for a good excuse to head over to Pragmatic Play’s Blackjack X. Every player is different, so if you can add to reasons why you would play this Blackjack title, then please leave a comment below.
