EGR B2B Live Casino Supplier

Can Evolution win a 13th consecutive EGR B2B Live Casino Supplier award? Plus, Viv, TVBet, On Air Entertainment, Playtech & more! (Image from Courtesy of egrglobal.evessiocloud.com)

Last week we reported on the current nominees for the upcoming EGR B2B Awards this 2022 being held at The Brewery – London on 16 June 2022. However, our favourite category was not yet listed – the ‘Live Casino Supplier of the Year’ list. EGR now has the list fully published on its website – check out below.

Other areas we are interested in are the ‘Aggregator Platform of the Year’, where we keep a close eye on casino platforms that are notorious for providing casinos with live dealer games/software platforms. Plus, ‘Software Rising Star’ is an interesting category as we are now seeing a surge of new live dealer platforms coming online.

Now finally, these nominees lists have been fully confirmed, and we are seeing some usual suspects appear, while there are some newbies on the scene.

On Air Entertainment & Livespins – Software Rising Star Award

On Air Entertainment (we will create a full software provider review here on Live Casino Central soon) has made its way to its first awards ceremony, and what a way to start – the EGR B2B Awards!

The newbie brand that came online this year (2022) is on the ‘Software rising star’ category list alongside Livespins, which is another new, and interesting, live casino brand that allows you to ‘bet behind’ live players streaming their slot sessions online. The idea is to make video slot gaming more social by playing slots and celebrating wins with others.

This is one of the fastest-changing categories every year because after a year in the industry you cannot become nominated as a ‘’Rising Star’.
Amusnet Interactive Makes Its First Bid for Live Casino Supplier of the Year

Formerly EGT Interactive Live, now Amusnet Interactive, opened its live dealer studio this year. Its live dealer platform has picked up pace quickly and is now on the Live Casino Supplier of the Year award finalists category list. It would be a big ask to expect the firm to win this award on its first outing, but what an achievement.

BetGames is in there, which won the SBC 2020 ‘Live Casino Supplier’ of the year award taking it from the under the nose of Evolution, while Pragmatic Play Live is in with a shot after it picked up the ‘Live Casino of the Year’ award at the International Gaming Awards 2022 this year, and was the runner-up for the ‘Online Casino Supplier of the Year’ award at the Global Gaming Awards 2022, which ironically was eventually won by Evolution, the fiercest challenger for this year’s award.

Last year, Evolution won the Live Casino Supplier of the Year, and the 11 years prior to that. In short, Evolution is looking to make it the 13th consecutive year of winning the EGR B2B Live Casino Supplier of the Year award.

Aggregator Platform Award – Playtech, BetConstruct & SOFTSWISS

The most notable live casino game developers nominated for the Aggregator platform of the year award are Playtech at BetConstruct. FYI, the latter has changed its live dealer gaming brand name to CreedRoomz. And one of the most popular white-label online casino platforms, and no stranger to winning awards is also nominated – SOFTSWISS. The platform hosts numerous live dealer brands with fiat currency, while crypto bets are available on its Curacao licensed casinos. Its platform is used by a host of online casinos covered in our live casino reviews section such as King Billy Casino, Slot Wolf Casino, BitStarz Casino, N1 Casino, and more.

The winner of this award last year in 2021 was Playtech. However, it would be hard to see SOFTSWISS not taking down the award this year. The platform has grown to become one of the most recognised white label casino aggregators in iGaming today for both iGaming and sports betting.

Live streaming supplier – TVBet & Vivo Gaming Get in on the Act

Traditionally, the live streaming supplier award nominees are sports betting companies with live sports feeds and in-play betting, so players can bet while the action unfolds. However, this year TVBet and Vivo Gaming have snuck in on the act, and why not? Live dealer platforms are also part of the live streaming supplier community and should get their shot at this category. Although thus far we have never had a live dealer brand win this category.

Betradar won this award last year in 2021, but it is not up for nomination in this category for 2022 and instead Sportradar is on the nominees’ list. The year before, we saw the famous horse racing company take down this award – AT THE RACES, while in 2019 it was awarded to Betradar.
