The results of the inaugural 2022 Global Gaming Awards Asia are now in and we can now fill you in on each of the nine winners that came out on top in their respective categories. This is the first Asian edition of the Global Gaming Awards following the award’s previous and continued success in Europe (London) and North America (Las Vegas).

This time, the event celebrates land-based and online gaming companies that have helped to mould the Asian gambling industry into what it is today. The event awarded the industry’s strongest performers throughout the past 12 months.

Due to the continuing problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first event was a virtual event streamed online. As the region fully recovers, we are sure that future editions of this annual awards ceremony will take place at land-based venues.

For this inaugural event, the main sponsors were leading iGaming brands Pragmatic Play, Digitain, SimplePlay, and SA Gaming. As for judging, this involved 30+ leading industry executives casting their votes on which companies they deemed the most deserving of such a prestigious industry award.

Attention shifts to 2023: While this event marked the first Asia Global Gaming Awards, it is the last ceremony planned for 2022. The European and North American legs of the 2022 Global Gaming Awards have already taken place. Attention now shifts toward the events planned for 2023.
