Adventures Beyond Wonderland Wins Award – AGA Gaming Product of the Year

Playtech emerged triumphant in the American Gambling Awards (AGA) after the brand’s flagship wheel of Fortune Adventures Beyond Wonderland Gameshow won the Gaming Product of the Year Award.

The game show is available in the US via the Playtech New Jersey studio. And it comes up against stiff competition, with Evolution and Ezugi also operating in New Jersey. Evolution is Playtech’s only live casino software provider rival in Michigan. But Adventures Beyond Wonderland is not available in the Wolverine State just yet.

Also, with the recent introduction of Stakelogic and Light & Wonder Live by Authentic Gaming into the US iGaming market, the future competition may become heavier.

Regardless of the future, in the here and now, Playtech has an award celebration for a game that has yet to take down any accolades in the European market. We’ve seen Monopoly Live and Crazy Time win the game of the year and gaming innovation honours. And while Adventures Beyond Wonderland has been nominated for various awards, it has never reached the podium. This time, it was different and deservedly so!

In my opinion, Playtech’s game show based on the story of Alice in Wonderland is just as good as other award-winning Wheel of Fortune titles, such as Crazy Time and Monopoly Live, which I believe are also available in the US.

Altogether, the AGA has eleven awards to dish out at the event, and over 50 iGaming and sports betting companies were on the shortlist. Payment solutions, tech providers, regulators, and responsible gambling organisations were also vying for award wins across the 11 award categories.

BetMGM – another noteworthy award winner!

You probably already know why BetMGM stands out, but if you don’t, I’ll give you a clue. LeoVegas and Royal Panda! Guessed it yet? Don’t worry if you haven’t because the names of operators are not important to everyone.

That’s because the US based gambling entertainment firm has not only purchased LeoVegas, which also came with Royal Panda, but we are also expecting the launch of a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) casino and sports betting platform. Quite whether a Malta Gaming Authroity (MGA) licensing application is also on the cards, honestly I don’t know.
