Two leading live casino suppliers, BetGames and Amusnet Interactive (formerly EGT Interactive) have strengthened in key positions by appointing Steve Wall and Irina Rusimova, respectively.

Announced on the news pages of both of the companies, these appointments have been made to continue the rapid growth each has enjoyed in recent years.

There is a common quote in business, and that is that you are only as successful as the people that work for you want you to be. Top iGaming gaming companies understand this all too well, and that is why they constantly look for the right recruitments to take them right to the top of the industry.

BetGames, the live casino supplier that has recently celebrated its 10th birthday, has announced that Steve Wall has been appointed as the company’s Chief Technology Officer. As for Amusnet Interactive, Irina Rusmova has earned a promotion to become the company’s Chief Business Development Officer.

Amusnet Interactive is the new name for EGT Interactive after the company underwent a major rebranding. It is the live casino arm of EGT (Euro Games Technology), a leading land-based and online video slot developer.

Steve Wall Brings a Wealth of IT Experience for His New Role as BetGames’ Chief Technology Officer

A graduate of the University of Birmingham in the UK, Steve Wall has amassed a wealth of experience working within IT. He previously worked as the Chief Technology Officer, a role he now has at BetGames, at Spectrac and Spectrac Cruise. He also held the same position at RedEye while he also built up his skills in roles for Logica and Senior Solutions.

In his new role, Steve Wall will oversee the improvement and optimisation of the technology used by BetGames. This will improve the product offering of the firm and ensure the firm is in the best place to launch new BetGames games verticals going forward.

A statement from Andreas Koeberl, the CEO of BetGames:

Delighted to have Steve Wall on board, the CEO believes that Steve is the ideal candidate and one that will enhance the technology capabilities of the company. He added that the combination of his abilities and experience would make him an excellent addition to any company.

Irina Rusimova Talks of EGT Interactive’s New Name Following Promotion to Chief Business Officer

Amusnet Interactive did not have to go looking for the perfect candidate for the role of Chief Business Officer as she was already in the ranks. Irina Rusimova was awarded the role due to her performance working under different roles for the company across the past five years.

As part of the announcement of this new appointment, Amusnet interviewed Rusimova and asked her about what the recent changes for the company could mean going forward. Most of the questions focused around the new name change for EGT Interactive (now Amusnet Interactive) and what this means for the company.

Dissecting her answers, it is clear that the new name change was designed to reflect a more centralised approach by the company. The new name will allow Amusnet to enjoy an easier time when communicating the diversification of its portfolio whenever it enters new markets and speaks to new operators. The company offers a vast collection of virtual games such as slots and table games but has now also recently launched into the live casino space.

When questioned on the new markets Amusnet interactive will target in 2022, she quickly revealed that the main focus is LatAm markets at the moment.
