Playtech and BetGames, two popular live dealer game developers, are expanding across multiple iGaming markets via new partnership deals.

A recent news report on the BetGames news feed confirms that the live dealer outfit will enter the new Ontario iGaming scene in Canada, bringing a fourth live casino portfolio to the province. The developer enters the North American region for the first and will have its work cut out with competitors such as Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play Live already popular amongst locals.

Over in the Playtech camp, which isn’t always overly revealing when it comes to reporting new deals, a rare double news release may have caught your attention. A duo of partnership agreements extends its live casino portfolio’s reach in the world’s largest iGaming market, the UK. The London Stock Exchange PLC has operated in the UK live casino industry since 2017 and has finally teamed up with BetVictor.

Playtech has also made headway in Italy with another new B2B supply deal. In the recent EGR Italy 2022, the B2B iGaming supplier picked up the Casino Platform Supplier and Software Supplier of the year awards enhancing its local rep. To catch up on all these stories, read on!

BetGames Enters Canada—Plus hints of a US or Mexican expansion?

Already a UKGC-licenced live casino supplier in the UK and across most of Europe, BetGames was always a prime candidate to enter the new Ontario iGaming zone. The company is now officially an Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) licensed live dealer studio.

BetGames described the move as the first chapter in its North American journey. Forgive me for my investigative mind here, but where else is there to go in the continent other than Mexico or the USA? Could that comment suggest a new live casino studio is coming to the region–possibly one of the US iGaming markets? Or maybe it could be a hint at a push to gain lottery licencing in other Canadian provinces.

Dr. Andreas Koeberl: The company CEO clarified that an AGCO certification to operate as a Canadian live casino supplier makes sense, as there is an appetite for lottery-style games and game shows in the region.

Playtech’s UK Live Casino Expansion with BetVictor

Playtech’s UK Live Casino Expansion

Becoming a powerhouse in the world’s largest online gambling arena is no easy feat. Yet, Playtech has unlocked the doors to becoming a major player in multiple industry verticals in the UK. With its success, the B2B iGaming and sports betting supplier has caught the attention of some of the country’s largest operators. The most recent of those is the BetVictor Group, one of the UK’s most prolific sports betting and casino brands.

The deal brings two of Playtech’s most successful online gambling verticals to BetVictor’s UKGC-licenced platform. Live dealer games and an impressive video slots portfolio which both include the in-demand Age of the Gods jackpot network.

After further investigation, I can see that Playtech slots and live casino games are already available at BetVictor, Heart Bingo, Parimatch, and talkSPORT BET. To sweeten the deal between the two powerhouse brands, a full suite video slot and live casino bonus + promotions tools will be available to BetVictor. Amazingly, and despite the size of both companies, this is the first time both entities have worked together in the UK gambling market.

George Voyatzis: In the official Playtech news release, the B2B supplier’s Commercial VP gleaned how proud the team is to have penned in a supply deal with what he feels is one of the world’s leading gambling companies.

Playtech iPoker network

Another bustling iGaming jurisdiction operating under the AAMS (Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato), is Italy. Playtech recently picked up two EGR Italy 2022 awards adding yet more appeal to its current casino and sports betting platforms. However, the latest deal isn’t live casino, video slots or sports. It is for access to the Playtech iPoker Italian network.

Playtech’s online poker platform comes into focus after penning a B2B supply deal with Lottomatica, which is a Gamenet Group company. And the agreement shows notable benefits for both companies.

Lottomatica gains access to an award-winning poker brand. One that recently won the EGR B2B 2022 Poker supplier of the year award adding to its two EGR Italy 2022 award wins. For Playtech, its iPoker Italian network increases its reach by bringing on board one of the largest iGaming operators in the country. Moreover, in 2021 and 2022 Lottomatica ranked as one of the top five poker sites.

Marat Koss: Playtech’s VP of Interactive Gaming has said that the company is proud to have penned in a deal to bring onboard one of the biggest operators in Italian iGaming onto the Playtech iPoker network, which in 2022 has enjoyed substantial growth.
