BetGames Live Dealer Platform Award

Once again, the new kid on the block within the live dealer scene is back in the headlines. This time for picking up a Danish licence. The newbie live casino brand will be looking up to BetGames as a brand that has picked up multiple iGaming licences and awards in its short instance.

In fact, it doesn’t feel like was so long ago that we were calling BetGames the new kid on the block. Despite BetGames being online since 2012, now a decade in iGaming, the company’s live casino studios only made themselves known across Europe as a whole quite recently.

Either way, OnAir Entertainment will also look to get its brand name on the ‘winners’ spot in industry awards across the globe. And it is worth noting that the live dealer platform won the recent International Gaming Awards 2022 ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award. Not so long ago, it was BetGames winning a ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award at the SBC 2019 awards event before following that up with the ‘Live Casino of the Year’ award in the same event the next year.

OnAir Entertainment Awarded Danish iGaming Licence

Yet another licence for OnAir Entertainment brings the brand into the regulated Danish iGaming market. The new licence falls under the country’s Danish Gambling Authority (DGA) framework, which is on par with the likes of the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).

OnAir Entertainment already operates in the UK but under Microgaming’s licensing. It also has studios in Romania and holds the ONJN – ‘Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc’ (Romania) certification. On top of this, the live dealer platform has the Swedish Gaming Authority (SGA) licence. Not a bad haul for a brand that only came online in January this year.

OnAir Entertainment’s Business Development Manager, Dejan Loncar, said in the official announcement of the DGA licence: “Denmark is a key market for OnAir Entertainment. It has enjoyed rapid growth in recent months and there is a strong appetite for quality, localised live casino content among players”.

BetGames Live Dealer Platform Award Officially Announced on BetGames Website

The BetGames brand is collecting awards across Europe thanks to its inventive gameplay on titles such as Nadar Bahar, Poker, and Dice. The all-in-one lobby has impressed the masses and judges at recent iGaming awards events.

BetGames recently announced on its website that the brand won the ‘Best Live Casino Provider in The Baltics 2022 (B2b)’. The award was picked up at the recent Scandinavian Gaming Awards (BSG Awards) 2022. Ironically enough, the event was held in BetGames hometown as part of the MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit. What a place to win an award. It is like a sports team taking down a championship at the home ground.

BetGames is now building up an extensive list of industry awards, and I expect many more to come. Here’s an overview of the BetGames awards’ collection thus far:

  • (2022) Scandinavian Gaming Awards (BSG Awards) – Best Live Casino Provider In The Baltics
  • (2020) SBC Awards – Live Casino Supplier of the Year
  • (2020) SBC Awards – Leader of the Year (Aiste Garneviciene, COO)
  • (2019) SBC Awards – Rising Star in Casino Innovation

BetGames is regularly nominated in the live casino and innovation awards categories in other events. In the recent EGR 2022 awards, BetGames was the finalist for ‘Lottery Supplier’ of the year thanks to its Lucky 5, Lucky 6, and Lucky 7 live lotto titles. The brand was also up for the Live Betting Supplier of the Year award as a finalist.

BetGames CEO: Dr. Andreas Köberl, the CEO of the BetGames live dealer casino platform was a speaker at the event. He was part of a panel discussing how to make your brand stand out from the crowd. Something BetGames has achieved with its unique lobby and availability of free play games.
