Grosvenor Casinos charity meals: Some great news coming from the Herald newspaper regarding Grosvenor Casino in London – the esteemed partner of Evolution Live dual play games and PokerStars Live tables.

Having worked diligently since April 2020, Grosvenor Casinos Russell Square has been able to deliver 25,000 free meals to vulnerable families and people in communities across London to help feed them.

Speaking on the donation, Founder of Only A Pavement Away, a charity partner of Grosvenor Casinos Russell Square, Greg Mangham, explained that: As at the beginning of its campaign (called Hospitality Against Homelessness), it aimed to help get drink and food supplies to the rough sleepers which they housed in their hostels. He lauded the effort of Grosvenor casino in making such a feat possible through the support it rendered to the charity’s campaign.

Greg further expressed gratitude to Grosvenor for the support and generosity his charity received from them. He stated that the initiative had given those suffering hardship a lifeline, despite starting as a few meals. Greg lauded Grosvenor for always heeding to calls for help, and he concluded that Only A Pavement Away is proud to have Grosvenor as a partner. Grosvenor continued to offer services and support other charity partners as joined fellow venues reopen across the United Kingdom to deliver about 100,000 free meals across Scotland and England collectively.

Grosvenor Casino Russell Square’s General Manager, Jerry Lewis, also commented on the donations, stating that: Everyone in the community has been through a difficult time, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic. Jerry, however, noted that his firm is working alongside its charity partners to cook and provide over 25,000 free meals to members of the community. He described this donation as a true testament to the team’s commitment to the cause and a jackpot for the team.

Jerry also extended his commendation to the delivery staff and kitchen team for their efforts in making the project come true. Furthermore, he praised them for going beyond and above to fully support the initiative being delivered by the community kitchen at Grosvenor Casinos Russell Square.

In appreciating the frontline workers who have been working round the clock all through the pandemic, the casino also donated meals to fire brigades, ambulance teams, police, and NHS nurses at local hospitals.
