Three top live casino brands earned awards at the latest 2023 EGR Operators Awards ceremony.

GG.Bet, William Hill, and LeoVegas are all fan favourites here on Livecasinocentral. You will find each of them reviewed in our casino review section. Also, as we occasionally cover Entain, it is worth mentioning that the UK stock exchange-listed company took down an award, too.

The event took place in London at the end of October, and it was only just now that I saw that the three live casino brands highly recommended here on Livecasinocentral had walked away with winners’ medals.

Congratulations to all three. LeoVegas and William Hill are no strangers to winning awards, while GG.Bet is appearing regularly in awards shortlists and has now won an award at one of the most highly regarded events in iGaming and sports betting.

As for live casino awards, the EGR Operators event doesn’t include the niche in its categories. However, there is a Game of the Year award, which Evolution’s Lighting Roulette has won. However, over the past few events, no live dealer games have won this accolade. In this year’s events, Spribe’s Aviator won, and in 2022, it was Pragmatic Play that won Game of the Year for the second year running after its Gates of Olympus won in 2021. In 2020, Crazy Time by Evolution was the runner up for this award. Better luck next year for the live casino game scene for this EGR Operators Award!

LeoVegas Two EGR Operator Awards -Adding to Multiple Awards

For LeoVegas, it is yet another award to add to a long and ever-growing list. Now, under MGM Resorts, the casino is still at the top of its game.

The casino and sportsbook won Operator of the Year and the Casino Operator of the Year. In this year’s International Gaming Awards, LeoVegas also won the Mobile Operator of the Year. Plus, on the same day, the brand won the Casino of the Year at the 2023 Global Gaming Awards London after winning the same award in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018.

With so many awards under its belt, LeoVegas is arguably the most successful online casino operator in the business. There are few platforms that can match its huge collection of awards. In the table accompanying this section I could only fit in just a few of the honours the brand has picked up. There are plenty more to add to that list!

Last year, 888 won the Casino Operator Award, and Kaizen Gaming took down the Operator of the Year Award. LeoVegas will be ecstatic that the brand beat in this year’s event.

It was the perfect night for 888 Holdings as its William Hill brand is still paying off after the company took over the brand pre-Covid. The WH platform, also well-known for its live casino gaming, won the following awards:

As with LeoVegas, William Hill is also no stranger to awards and nominations. The brand is currently one of 888 Holdings’ strongest assets. The retail bookies sector is shining with players moving from online gameplay to WH betting shops post Covid.

GG.Bet Wins eSports Operator Award

Ok so it wasn’t its live casino that put GG.Bet on the podium, but if you are looking for a trustworthy gambling entertainment platform, one that has won an award in one of the industry’s most respected events is not a bad place to start. GG.Bet was also nominated for the best eSports Operator in the SBC 2023 award, eventually awarded to the Betway Group.
