‘Evolution Dual Play Partner License Acquired by Hard Rock!’ (image source: boreiangkornc.com)

London’s Ritz Club casino’s gambling license is now in the hands of US firm Hard Rock as the Evolution Dual Play partner license transfers to the US firm. The acquisition of the Ritz Club license may also give Evolution yet another US partner while paving for Hard Rock to fulfil its ambitions to emerge as a new player in land-based casino developments in the city, and maybe even the UK.

Hard Rock International now boasts over 240 locations spread across 70 countries including cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, and also casinos. The brand now plans to add more casinos to its collection via its newly acquired UK land-based casino license, and news of Hard Rock entering the UK market may well have the Evolution team pouncing on talks to strike up a partnership deal.

Whether the license will see the original Ritz Club Casino deal with Evolution remain intact, allowing the live dealer game manufacturer to reopen its ‘Dual Play’ tables in Hard Rock establishments is not yet clear. Admittedly, it would be an amicable partnership, as Evolution is already operating in Hard Rock Casino’s backyard after opening 2 live dealer studios to supply New Jersey and Pennsylvania with live casino table games.

It does seem a partnership between Evolution and Hard Rock Casino makes sense, and what’s more, is Evolution is the perfect gateway into the UK for the Hard Rock Casino. The live dealer platform firm’s main licensed company Evolution Malta Holding Limited already holds a UKGC license. Moreover, that license and the Evolution platform allow the firm to connect to live tables in The Hippodrome, Grosvenor, and Genting casinos in the UK.

However, other brands may see this as an opportunity to start their version of Evolution’s ‘Dual Play’. BetConstruct already has services ready to make such a deal happen while Pragmatic Play and Playtech Live are surely looking to increase their push into the live casino market, and the addition of land-based casino live table games may be on the cards for 2021.

For now, Evolution surely has the upper hand as it was formerly operating its live casino ‘Dual Play’ services with the original owner of the Hard Rock Casino’s newly acquired UK land-based casino license!

Dual Play Tables by Evolution

Before the Ritz Club closed its doors ceasing to offer brick and mortar casino gaming services, Evolution streamed roulette tables via webcam to its live dealer platform via the developer’s ‘Dual Play’ selection, which currently streams live tables 24/7 from London casinos Hippodrome and Grosvenor’s Victoria Casino.

Currently, Evolution had to cut off its Ritz Club ‘Dual Play’ tables after the casino ceased operations. ‘Dual Play’ gives aggregator casino platforms and online casinos with a live casino section access to roulette and baccarat tables physically located the casino floors of well-known land-based casinos across the globe. Online casinos players can then connect to the tables and place bets while playing alongside the walk-in customers physically playing at the casino.

Other casinos Evolution offers ‘Dual Play’ services are in the USA, Europe, and Asia. American (double-zero) Roulette is available from Resorts Casino Hotel (Atlantic City, New Jersey USA), Genting’s Resorts World (Birmingham, UK), and the Dragonara Casino (Malta).

Adding to this, Evolution also owns Ezugi, which has exactly the same setup under the Ezugi 360 game label. Live Baccarat from Queenco Hotel and Casino in Cambodia and Live Roulette streamed from the casino floor of Portomasso Casino in Malta are the currently Ezugi’s 360 options and both are available at a select few online casinos hosting Ezugi live dealer games.

Benefits of Dual Play Partner License Acquired For Hard Rock & Evolution

Evolution is always looking to increases its gaming portfolio and there are rumours that the next addition to the ‘Dual Play’ library is ‘Unlimited Texas Hold’em’ streamed from yet another land-based casino partner. Prior to the pandemic, there was speculation, but as land-based casinos are finding themselves having to close due to lockdown rules, news of this fresh addition slowly disappeared and is unlikely to reemerge until casinos are permanently open.

Despite huge losses reported by all land-based casinos globally, Hard Rock sees the future within the UK gambling industry as a bright one. News of caps for online casinos and sports betting may benefit hard Rock’s move into the UK, while Evolution may well reignite its Ritz Club agreement with both companies possibly using the newly acquired license to bring Hard Rock Casino land-based tables to Evolution live dealer players online!

Whether the tables will be Sic Bo, Baccarat, Roulette, or indeed Unlimited Texas Hold’em remains to be seen, but as soon as Evolution or Hard Rock make any announcements we’ll be there to report the news as soon as it happens!
