Hang on to your hats folks, as it looks like Evolution is set to take us on a new live casino adventure. The undisputed king of live casino games has just released a teaser video of Gold Bar Roulette, a new title that features gold bars and 88x multipliers. This surely means this release is not too far away – which means exciting times are coming for all of us!

Of course, we already knew that Gold Bar Roulette would come at some point. During the Evolution Online Event at the start of February, Evolution revealed a host of new casino games that were planned for release in 2022 from each of the brands owned by the firm. Of course, as we love live casino games, that meant we focused on the new live titles planned by Evolution and Ezugi rather than any slots coming from NetEnt, Red Tiger or Big Time Gaming. Of those titles, there were a few from Evolution that really caught my eye. Evolution has already released XXXtreme Lightning Roulette and Crazy Coin Flip to much acclaim which leaves us with Gold Bar Roulette and Monopoly Big Baller.

Now, having seen the short teaser during the Evolution Online Event, Gold Bar Roulette always looked like a title that Evolution was going all out on. The quality and design of the set looked amazing, as you will see in the latest teaser video from Evolution. When the leading live casino brand goes all out on the production of a title, you can tell it is one it is really pinning its hopes on.

On a side note, we are just as excited for the release of Monopoly Big Baller. This looks like it will be a combination of Mega Ball and the main bonus round on Monopoly Live!

What Do We Know About Gold Bar Roulette?

Well, it looks like this is another title that Evolution hopes will revolutionise European Roulette in the same way as the award-winning Lightning Roulette did. The video released by Evolution as part of the teaser gave away quite a few hints. It looks like there is a new multiplier mechanic that lets you earn gold bars that you can then store and use on future straight-up bets. The gold bars look as though they are worth an 88x multiplier each and you can stack them an unlimited number of times on your straight-up bets.

Obviously, this leads to questions such as how long you can store the gold bars and whether there is a capped max win. Can you only store the bars during each session or can you build them up over multiple sessions? The latter seems unlikely. As for the maxed win, we are that there will be one; it is just how big it is that is the question.

We will have to wait to learn about the smaller details, such as min and max bets and the RTP. We do expect Evolution to do something similar to Lightning Roulette in terms of paying for these multipliers. In that title, multipliers are paid via the non-multiplied straight-up bets receiving a payout of 30:1 instead of the 35:1 on standard European Roulette titles.

We will have to wait and see on the rest, but as you know from most Evolution releases, you can be sure that you’re in for some entertaining live casino action. This looks like it could even become the brand’s biggest launch of the year so far!
