The exclusive Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2021 has finally come to an end after a rigorous voting process. This event took place on Monday afternoon at Sands Expo and featured many of the most popular industry experts. Industry figures from the gambling industry directed the voting process before KPMG did the final vetting. This was done to make sure the entire process was transparent and fair.

The event was supported by BetConstruct, which was its lead partner and a provider for land-based and online gambling sectors. It was also supported by many reputable organizations like Paysafe, the igaming payment solutions provider, Scientific Games, IGT, Connective Games, Continent 8 Technologies, FDJ Gaming, Evolution, and Aristocrat. With these powerhouses behind the event, it is no surprise that it turned out to be a success. Many industry experts clinched awards in this event, and although some were expected, others came as a surprise. Let us take a look at some of the most notable ones below.

Evolution Gaming Wins Digital Industry Supplier of The Year Award

Evolution Gaming clinched one of the evening’s largest and most important awards, which came as no surprise to us. This was the Digital Industry Supplier of The Year Award. The developer was up against many other notable names, including Continent 8 Technologies, Greentube, Playtech, BetConstruct, Scientific Games, Inspired 8 Entertainment, Kambi, and IGT Playdigital.

We believe Evolution Gaming deserved this award since it spent the year making notable moves to extend its reach and retain its position as a leader in the gambling industry.

Aristocrat Gaming Clinches 3 Major Awards

Aristocrat Gaming managed to secure three awards in this event. These include the Slot of the Year Award, Land-based Industry Supplier Award, and Land-based Product of the Year award via its in the Clear product.

Other Notable Awards in the Global Gaming Awards

IGT earned itself the biggest innovator award through its Resort Wallet. This is an innovative product that lets players go cashless on their best properties. In addition, IGT’s PlaySports platform earned it the third position in the Digital Product category. The PlaySpprts platform is a B2B sports betting technology that caters to players in the US.

MGM Resorts International was not left out either as BetMGM, its jointly managed sportsbook, earned the Digital Operator Award. It also earned second place in the Customer Loyalty Program and Responsible Business of the Year. Wynn Resorts attained the award for the best Land-based Operator of the year award. This is a major feat since land-based casinos have only started to continue operations after the pandemic.

Also, the San Manual Band of Mission Indians earned itself the ward as the most responsible business of the year. This is well-deserved since it has been giving to the community and donating to charitable causes all through the year 2021. Lastly, Ceasers Entertainment won itself the Customer Loyalty of the year Award via its Ceasers Reward. This is surely great for the company since it has had some bad press lately.
