After a long voting process including input from the Gambler Insider team and Nomination panel as well as a self-nomination window, the winners of the 2021 Global Gaming Awards in London have been revealed. Votes were gotten from leading executives and CEOs from all over the industry while the top auditing firm, KPMG adjudicated the votes which were made online.  This article provides a breakdown of winners of this year’s edition of the Global Gaming Award while we also add a complete list of the top 3 in each category of the award at the base.

The Winning Companies and Individuals

As expected, leading software provider, Evolution recorded big wins at the award and was able to clinch the  Online Casino Supplier Award. Similarly, other brands owned by Evolution won 3 awards in total; Divine Fortune MegaWays from NetEnt won the Product Launch Award while Gonzo’s Quest MegaWays from Red Tiger also won the Casino Product Award for the second time running.

Kambi and bet365 were also big winners in this event as they got 2 awards each; the Online Sports Betting Operator award went to bet365 and their partners also won the Affiliate Program Award while Kambi secured the award for the best Retail Supplier and Online Sports Betting Supplier. LeoVegas was not left behind as the top Swedish-based firm defended its title by winning the category for Online Casino for the 4^th time in a row. Furthermore, IGT returned to winning ways after missing out on the awards over the past few years by scooping the category for Casino Supplier.

Paddy Power, the industry titans also registered themselves on the award list, winning the Betting Shop Operator Award while Sportradar won the category for Services Provider. Kindred Group took the Social Responsibility Award, Trustly secured victory in the category for Payment Solution, and Per Jaldung CEO of Casino Cosmopol came out on top in the highly competitive category for Chief Executive.

Statement From COO of Gambling Insider

While speaking on the awards, COO of Gambling Insider, Julian Perry extended his congratulatory message to all the winners of the 2021 GGA London awards and he also appreciated all those who took part in the voting and collation process as well as the award ceremony itself.

According to Perry, the industry has been faced with a lot of challenges in the past year especially due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic which halted and disrupted many businesses and made everyone stay at home. The COO however noted that:

It is commendable that many firms have shown their determination and resilience to remain positive and also to put their employees and customers first. Perry also congratulated the rest of the nominees who didn’t get a win this year and he implored them to be ready to secure the top spot in the next edition of the award.
