Is an Ezugi Wheel of Fortune Gameshow on the Horizon?
To cut to the chase, there has been no mention of a wheel of fortune game show coming from the Ezugi studios. Yet, that doesn’t stop me feeling that the developer is getting closer to this point. Maybe ICE London 2024 will reveal more. To explain, Ezugi is an Evolution owned brand. Bringing out a roulette multiplier game to challenge Lightning Roulette doesn’t seem like a wise move.
My sneaky suspicion is that the Ultimate Roulette game show fills in a gap for some Canadian players in Ontario. Ontario players who are still playing at casinos operating under the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), Curacao Gaming Control Board (GCB) and/or Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) iGaming frameworks do not have access to live casino games by Evolution, Playtech, Pragmatic Live and BetGames. This is because they are already registered with Ontario iGaming, a subsidary of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission Ontario (AGCO). Under the rules they cannot allow their game to become available to players in Ontario via non-AGCO casinos.
That means no access to Lightning Roulette, Quantum Roulette or Mega Roulette titles. And now players at these casinos finally have a roulette game with multipliers in form of Ultimate Roulette, does this mean Ezugi will add a wheel of fortune gameshow title to fill in yet another gap?
That said, now the company has Lightning Roulette, XXtreme Lightning Roulette and Ultimate Roulette under its Evolution and Ezugi brand names. The release of Ultimate Roulette could simply be a bid to increase its market share in the roulette with multipliers space. Many companies do this, and Ezugi’s new roulette title does offer a fresh theme with slightly different ways to win multipliers under another brand name.
