Coming off the news grapevine today are stories including the modification of two popular live casino games, Vivo Gaming revealing record levels of growth in Latin America markets, and BetGames launching its new live sport brand in Africa via the Betway online casino and sportsbook.
Ezugi Updates Popular Andar Bahar Casino Game by Adding Multipliers
Even the most popular live dealer tables and gameshows need a freshen-up from time to time. With new content perpetually released from the many suppliers now operating in the live casino vertical, sometimes games need a little modification to stay relevant enough to attract players.
Well, as Playtech has with Adventures Beyond Wonderland (which we will talk about next), Ezugi has updated its classic Andar Bahar live dealer game to include multipliers. Called Ultimate Andar Bahar, this new version gives players the chance to win up to 500x their stake. That is via random multipliers applied to random cards in the base game that can deliver wins of up to 125x and side bets that can receive increases to their payouts of up to 500x.
Pang Goh, Ezugi’s Business Development Director, released a statement about the release of Ultimate Bahar saying:
This is the Ultimate version of one of our most-loved live table games. While it sticks to the traditions of the popular Indian card game, it brings massive potential with the addition of random multipliers to both the base game and up to eight side bets.
A New 2 Walters Wonder Spins Bonus Round Added to Adventures Beyond Wonderland
Adventures Beyond Wonderland is one of the most popular titles in the live casino vertical and that is unlikely to change with the news that Playtech has now added to the game’s ranks. Called the Walters Wonder Spins Bonus, it uses the same wheel used for the original 2 WonderSpins and 5 WonderSpins rounds that features famous Alice in Wonderland characters holding multipliers of between 2x and 50x.
It is actually almost identical to those features except you receive boosted multipliers. At the start of the round, you pick one of four bubble gum bubbles to reveal a multiplier value of between 1x and 10x. That is added to the current values of all the character segments on the wheel. The rest of the feature plays out exactly like the two aforementioned bonuses.
Playtech has accommodated this extra segment on the wheel by reducing the number of ‘1’ segments from 22 to 21. That has lowered the RTP for that segment slightly to 96.64% from 96.82%. As for the RTP of the Walters Wonder Spins Bonus, that comes in as the lowest of all the bonuses at 96.11%.

BetGames’ Twain Sport Debuts in Africa via Betway Agreement
Twain Sport, a live sport vertical that was created via a collaboration between BetGames and the Hybrid Sports League, will soon make its debut in Africa after reaching an agreement with Betway. Twain Sport offers a short-form solution to bettors that want quicker and more frequent betting opportunities. T-Basket is the first mini-sport set to launch in this vertical and will deliver an astonishing 6,300 matches a month. That comprises 90 minutes tournaments involving 60-second matches every 3 minutes. Each match is a head-to-head contest with the winner scoring the most points within that minute.
Betway, one of the biggest operators in the African iGaming markets, will be among the first to feature this vertical on its platforms. Vivo Gaming Celebrates Record LatAm Growth in 2022
Vivo Gaming has revealed that 2022 has been its best year yet, with the driving factor being the live brand’s growth in Latin America over the past 12 months. The firm earned Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) certification for many of its flagship live dealer games, which meant it could launch them in its brand new live studios in Colombia and Uruguay.
Adding to that, Vivo Gaming continued its expansion across the LatAm region by increasing the number of offices in key cities across Central and South America. Throughout the year, Vivo opened offices in Sau Paolo (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay), Costa Rica, Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Bogota (Colombia).
With more offices comes the need for more staff and throughout 2022, Vivo Gaming has filled over 30 new positions, ranging from live dealers to sales managers and product developers.
