The inaugural awards will be part of the trade show and conference of the SBC Summit for North America and there will be twenty-six categories that will cover eligible operators, suppliers, affiliates, and lotteries from Canada or the US. The nomination will be on till the 26th of August. SBC, a firm renowned for organizing events in the industry and the organizer of the SBC Awards For North America, announced that the launch of the award will be held on the 2nd of December 2021 in New York.
The awards are intended to reward suppliers, affiliates, and operators in the region and will be included in the 3-day SBC Summit for North America trade show and conference. Suppliers, affiliates, lotteries, and live casino operators working in any Canadian or US market are qualified to enter the twenty-six categories of the award. Nominations will be accepted till August 26 while an independent panel of professional judges will shortlist and choose eventual winners.
Statement from SBC CEO and Founder
Speaking on the opening of the nominations via a press release, SBC CEO and founder, Rasmus Sojmark stated that:
Over the past 3 decades, iGaming and legal sports betting in North America has recorded massive growth, making it a true business phenomenon. The CEO noted that it is high time they honored the achievements of firms driving the success recorded in the industry over the last 30 years.
He also stated that the recognition is currently on brands that have been long established and have also embraced mobile gaming. Sojmark then highlighted that the recognition will extend to the most inventive start-ups while the SBC Awards For North America will also celebrate the best in the industry. SBC has previously scheduled two industry awards for Q4 2021 with the SBc Awards Show set to come up on the 14th of December in London and SBC Awards Latinoamerica set for October 28 in Miami. Thus, SBC Awards North America will now become the third in that list as it is scheduled for December 2, 2021.
