On Air Entertainment Blackjack

Looking to try out a new live casino brand? Maybe On Air Entertainment could be the answer as it brings its new live blackjack tables online! (Image from On Air Entertainment Facebook Page)

The live casino industry just keeps on growing with new names and new game titles popping up with some consistency. Now we have another new brand in the scene which is ‘On Air Entertainment’ from Malta joining the live dealer arena with its very own live studio.

Its first game title is of course one of the most popular table games out there – Live Blackjack to which On Air Entertainment has 7 tables with fully trained dealers as well as Ultra-HD webcam links. Players get to sit at any one of the spectacular 7 seat tables. Dealers operate using Vegas Blackjack rules. 8 Decks of cards in the shoe and the table uses S17 DAS rules, so the dealer must stand on hard or soft 17 while players can double down after splits.

On Air Entertainment is one of the latest iGaming studios to join up with the Microgaming network to deliver casino games across the globe. In the video slot vertical we have seen the likes of Tripe Edge Studios and 10+ other studios parent with Microgaming to increase its Mega Moolah and WowPot jackpot networks as well as non-progressive jackpot games and non-jackpot casino titles. Also, we have seen some Real Dealer Studios CGI style RNG operated live dealer games come through Microgaming.

Whether this is in some way in breach of the agreement with Evolution that took Microgaming out of the European market is not known. We assume not as both firms have an amicable relationship that we are sure neither would risk harming. Plus, we have already seen some casinos stream BetGames titles via Microgaming so presumably, this is just a similar deal, and what better way to get your foot in the door in the iGaming industry than one of the industry’s largest ambassadors!

Which was the last new live dealer brand? The last time a new brand entered the market was when Quik Gaming announced its new hybrid casino title + lottery live games portfolio. That brand now has a UKGC and MGA licence, multiple games on the market, and is already covered as available in our Energy Live Casino review, which covers Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, BetGames, and more.

A Great Time to Open a New Brand!

Although On Air Entertainment is only just going live now, the company was in fact founded last year in 2020 while the pandemic was in full force. To be honest, it was the global lockdowns that showed just how well the live dealer industry is performing as many live studios remained open keeping those in the studios employed and busy and giving players online a way to play their favourite casino in a land-based casino environment via webcam.

And it is only just the beginning with 7 tables currently available at Coolbet Casino, Gammix Casino, and Bett99 Casino. The brand will surely expand rapidly with its blackjack tables thanks to its Microgaming link and it is said that it will soon expand from 7 tables to 20. We will also be keeping an eye out for further releases which we know won’t be long because the On Air Entertainment website has a ‘Roulette’ page ready and waiting with ‘Our Roulette games are coming soon!’.

Who are the main live dealer brands today? Now On Air Entertainment joins a growing list of live dealer brands. Evolution is clearly out in front, then Playtech Live, and next we would place Pragmatic Play Live as the third largest brand. Then we have Authentic Gaming, BetGames (formerly BetGamesTV), Ezugi, Vivo Gaming, BetConstruct, HollywoodTV, TVBet, and tons more!
