OnAir Entertainment Enters Sweden

It’s a fast-track approach for the new OnAir Entertainment live casino platform. With the brand’s connections to the Microgaming iGaming software provider it is no surprise that its studio has picked up yet another licence and began delivering its casino game titles to live casinos in the region.

In its 7th licensing deal, OnAir Entertainment live games are now open to order in Sweden under the Swedish Gaming Authority (SGA) framework. It means any operators with the same licence can opt to formulate a B2B business deal with OnAir Entertainment to begin streaming live games directly via the brand’s custom-built live studio in Latvia.

News of the new Swedish market entry comes directly from the OnAir Entertainment news portal itself. Although there was no mention of live casinos or operator companies with OnAir Entertainment game titles in the report, the live game developer mentioned some of the game titles to expect soon.

Once OnAir Entertainment starts to sign B2B deals with operators, games from its portfolio streamed from its live studies will include the likes of live ‘9 Pots of Gold™ StreamIcon™ Edition’, live ‘Blackjack’, live ‘Speed Roulette’, live ‘Auto Roulette’, live ‘Roulette’, live ‘Eclipse Blackjack’, and live ‘Lotus Baccarat’.

Dejan Loncar, who is the company’s Commercial Partner said in the official news report “Entering the Swedish market is a milestone moment for OnAir Entertainment and means that operators live in the country can now access premium live casino content that is proven to thrill and entertain players”.

Which Live Casinos Are Popular in the Swedish iGaming Market?

My guess is that players in the Swedish market currently playing at live casinos under the SGA licence will not have to wait too long to get their first taste of the OnAir Entertainment live game portfolio. And there are already some of iGaming’s most decorated casino brands, with multiple iGaming awards already operating in Sweden.

These are the most likely the first 2 live casinos that will sign a B2B deal with OnAir Entertainment (of course, this is just me speculating):

  • Mr Green Live Casino: SBC Awards 2021 ‘Socially Responsible Casino of the Year’ (Winner) / Global Gaming Awards 2021 ‘Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year’ (Winner).
  • LeoVegas Live Casino: Global Gaming Awards 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 ‘Online Casino of the Year’ (Winner) / International Gaming Awards 2022 ‘Online Gaming Operator of the Year’ / SBC Awards 2021 ‘Casino Operator of the Year’ (Runner-Up) / SBC Awards 2020 & 2019 ‘Casino Operator of the Year’ (Winner) / SBC Awards 2019 ‘Innovation in Casino Entertainment’ (Winner) / EGR Operator Awards 2021 ‘Mobile Casino Product (Winner).

See the full live casino reviews breaking down Mr Green and LeoVegas live casinos. Both are host to live dealer games from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live. If you are looking to play live slots, then the LeoVegas live casino has live slot titles from Playtech. If OnAir Entertainment strikes a deal with LeoVegas, players will have access to Playtech and OnAir Entertainment live video slot titles. Moreover, it will be the first time two brands with live video slot titles compete as Playtech has long been the only live casino video slot provider for over 2 years now.

OnAir Entertainment Awards: Although only opening its virtual doors in January this year, OnAir Entertainment has already bagged the Rising Star of the Year accolade at the recent International Gaming Awards (IGA) 2022. The event was held in London’s prestigious West End location, The Savoy Hotel in the Strand on 11 April 2022.
