Can you think of a better Christmas present than a brand new Playtech Live casino game to enjoy over the festive period? The iGaming giant has just released the hugely anticipated Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Live Roulette live casino title!

This is a live roulette game based on the popular television quiz show of the same name. It comes via a collaboration with Sony Pictures Television, which is the production company behind that television show.

Playtech first revealed a new partnership with Sony Pictures Television that would result in three Who Wants to Be a Millionaire live casino titles back in February. That contract will run for five years, during which time the three new live titles are created and launched.

Well, this is the first of those three live titles and it has launched just in time for Christmas, and it is a live roulette title themed around the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire television show. It has incorporated many of the shows’ iconic features such as Ask the Audience, Ask the Host, and 50/50, while it could payout a top multiplier of 2,000x the stake. Plus, even those that have not made the bonus round, or do not have an active bet in play, can take part just for fun.

The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire television quiz show was first aired in the UK in 1998, but because of its tremendous success, it has been adapted and aired in over 120 countries.

Guesses on the Next Two Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Live Titles?

The great news is that there is more to come in this series, as there will be three live casino titles that operate within the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire branding. The question is, what direction will Playtech go for the remaining two live titles? Well, the iGaming giant has gone with Roulette for the first, which is understandable as this classic table game is the most popular. It will go head to head with other titles including Evolution’s award-winning Lightning Roulette, while Playtech already offers Quantum Roulette and Age of the Gods Live Roulette.

My guess is that the next title will be a variation of blackjack that will include similar bonus features used in this roulette title. Much like this title, it will probably feature some of the television shows iconic features and will offer similar multipliers. As for the final game, I have a gut feeling that they will save the best for last and create a full-on live game show. You only have to look at how Evolution has done similar with the Deal or No Deal franchise.

Of course, this is just guessing on my part, so might be wrong. As the deal between Playtech Live and Sony Pictures Television is for 5-years, I also don’t think we can expect the next titles too soon. Again, I might be wrong. Anyway, until then we do at least have this excellent new live title to keep us warm over the Christmas period. I know the team here will take the time to give it a run for its money!
