Pragmatic Play Live, an iGaming content developer that has placed a strong emphasis on the Latam iGaming markets over the last year, has now been approved to offers its live casino content in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The firm has partnerships in place with Betfun, BetWarrior, Super 7, and more in the city, and is now able to offer its customers access to live casino games alongside the firm’s video slots that already feature on these online platforms.

Pragmatic Play yesterday announced the news via the ‘News’ page on its website. The Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), the iGaming regulator in Buenos Aires, has approved a selection of the live casino games in Pragmatic Play’s portfolio. This means that the award-winning iGaming developer can now make its ONE Blackjack, Blackjack, Mega Wheel, Roulette, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Auto Roulette, Mega Roulette, Speed Roulette, Speed Baccarat, and Baccarat titles available to partnering operators in the city.

This news means that Pragmatic Play is among the first live casino suppliers to gain approval in Buenos Aires City. The company has formed close to a dozen partnerships with operators in Argentina, with a handful of those in the country’s capital city.

Pragmatic Play is an extremely prolific developer of popular iGaming casino content. This company releases at least 6 new titles each month. This week alone we are expecting Boom City, a new live casino game on top of a handful of new slots. You can learn more about this iGaming giant on our dedicated Pragmatic Play page.

Pragmatic Play a Popular iGaming Brand Across Latam iGaming Markets

Over the last year, Pragmatic Play has made expansion and growth in Latam markets among its top priorities. The firm has agreed 25+ content partnerships with Latam operators in 2022 alone. The content provider operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Peru, Venezuela, Paraguay, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. Pragmatic Play Live is of the opinion that these Latam markets offer a lot of potential for growth and want to get a strong foothold.

It works both ways as well. The Pragmatic Play brand is proving extremely popular in these regions. The numerous industry awards the provider has won in recent years are evidence of that. So far this year, Pragmatic Play has won three awards at the 2022 SAGSE Buenos Aires Awards, two awards at the CGS Latam Awards, and the ‘Best Game Producer’ at the 2022 BIS Awards in Brazil. Late in 2021, Pragmatic Play also scooped two 2021 Gaming Intelligence Latin America Awards and the ‘Casino & Games Supplier of the Year’ at the SBC Awards Latin America.

On this latest announcement, Victor Arias, Pragmatic Play Live’s Vice President of Latin American Operations, said:

This is fantastic news for Pragmatic Play and bodes extremely well for our growth ambitions in Argentina. We are a multi-vertical provider, so this approval means that we can now offer partners access to our live casino games on top of everything else.

With approval from the Buenos Aires regulators now in place, this strengthens the product offering Pragmatic Play can put to prospective new operators. Plus, existing partners can now add the above live casino games to their online platforms. We expect many of these operators to do just that, as Pragmatic Play Live is among the top live casino suppliers in the industry. Why would they not allow their loyal customers access to them?
