Pragmatic Play, the prolific slots, virtual table game, and live casino developer is back at it once again. This time, the leading supplier has released two new live casino games at the same time. Both different variants of Baccarat, Fortune 6 Baccarat and Super 8 Baccarat are now available at all Pragmatic Play casinos that offer the firms live casino games. These latest releases also mean that Pragmatic Play Live is now able to offer close to 30 different live casino titles.

Both of the new titles offer something different to the standard game of Baccarat. Although both do offer the standard game of baccarat, they each offer a bunch of new side bets. These are bets that you can place that are independent of your main game bets. As you will see in each game, the title kind of the title of each game gives clues as to the numbers the side bets tend to focus on.

More About the Fortune 6 Baccarat Title from Pragmatic Play Live

Fortune 6 Baccarat offers you the ability to play standard baccarat, but at the same time gives you the option of placing 5 different side bets. These are independent of your result in the main game. Three of those side bets focus on the number 6 which is obviously the reason for the name Fortune 6 Baccarat.

  • Player Fortune Pair: If the 2 cards dealt to the player position are a pair, you will win. A suited pair pays 9:1 and an unsuited pair pays 5:1.
  • Banker Fortune Pair: This is the same as above, but for cards dealt to the banker position.
  • Player 6: If the player’s position wins with a total of ‘6’ you win 14:1.
  • Banker 6: If the banker position wins with a total of ‘6’ and you placed this side bet, you win 16:1.
  • Fortune 6: This side bet is based on how many 6 cards are dealt. If the first card is a 6, you will win 3:1. You get 30:1 if the next card is a 6. If you’re lucky enough to see the first 3 cards result in a 6, you will win 120:1.

Note: After 30 rounds into the card shoe, the Fortune 6 side bets are disabled. After 40 rounds, all other side bets are disabled as well. This is to prevent players from taking advantage via card counting.

What About Super 8 Baccarat?

Much like Fortune 6 Baccarat, the key selling point of Super 8 Baccarat is the side bets you can place. Besides those, the game is just your standard live baccarat title.

  • Player Red/Black: You can place a bet on the colours of the cards the player position receives. You get a 2:1 payout if you bet on red or black and two cards are that colour. If three cards are the same colour, you receive 4:1. If those three cards are suited, you get 10:1.
  • Banker Red/Black: This is the same as above but for the cards dealt to the banker position.
  • Player/Banker Super Pair: This is a side bet that you can place on either the banker or player’s position. If you land a pair, you win 10:1. If that pair is diamonds, you win 30:1. If the hand is a pair of 4’s you win 20:1 while a pair of diamond pairs pays 40:1.
  • Super 8: The Super 8 side bet revolves around 8. If the player or banker wins with an 8, you win 4:1. If the game is a tie with both positions scoring 8, you win 6:1. Finally, if the player or banker loses with an 8, you also win 6:1.

Note: Again, some of the side bets get disabled after a certain number of hands have been dealt from the 8 deck shoe. The Super 8 and Red/Black side bets are not offered after 30 rounds, while after 50 rounds, you can no longer place the Super Pairs side bets.
