Playtech a leading global gambling technology firm recently signed a mutual distribution partnership with Scientific Games Corporation on the 19th of June 2021.
With this new partnership between the two giants in the gaming industry, Playtech and Scientific Games can now benefit mutually from each other’s reach across the United States of America as well as regulated markets in Western, Eastern, and Central Europe and also in Latin America.
Operators will have access to Playtech’s software through the OGS (Open Gaming System). The partnership agreement covers the range of the industry-leading casino offerings from Playtech including its wide portfolio of Live Casino entertainment, table games, and slots which is all set to be integrated with promotions set and features from Scientific Games.
New Jersey is set to be the pioneer state in the US to enjoy Playtech’s game content which will be rolled out via the OGS while more states will follow later. Similarly, the OpenGaming proposition by Scientific Games keeps on growing in strength following this recent partnership. The company seems to be making major strides as it recently signed a land-based deal with Evolution gaming, another gaming giant. Scientific Games has built one of the biggest iGaming aggregation platforms in the world boasting more than 2,500 games which consists of in-house developed content and titles from a wide array of third-party studios.
The aggregation platform also offers features like tournaments, missions, free-rounds, and jackpots which all contain easily accessible responsible gambling tools for players to use during gameplay.

Commenting on the partnership, Playtech COO, Shimon Akad stated that:
The agreement deal is an exciting one that features two of the biggest names in the gaming industry. He added that the deal will have a major positive impact on iGaming all over the world.
Akad further stated that a primary pillar of Playtech’s strategy is to improve the distribution of its software via mutually beneficial partnerships with top Business to Business suppliers in the leading markets. According to Akad, Playtech is also focused on increasing the strength of the services and content it offers to its existing customers and clients. In his own view, the COO pointed out that the agreement will increase Scientific Games’ distribution to regulated markets in Europe and LATAM significantly while also providing a richer collection of thrilling iGaming content to Playtech’s clients in those markets.
Akad concluded that his firm looks forward to profiting from Scientific Games’ leadership in the US while also looking to release Playtech’s casino software in all the regulated states in the country.

Also speaking on the agreement, Scientific Games Group Chief Executive Officer, Jordan Levin stated that:

The CEO added that this recent partnership further proves the major role that OGS plays in opening up new prospects for gaming providers to widen their reach within major regulated markets.
In his last remarks, Levin expressed his company’s delight with the partnership with Playtech which will bring the latter’s world-class games to Scientific Games’ operating partners all over the world while offering exceptional entertainment experiences to its player base.
