SOFTSWISS Rolls Out Poker Module

SOFTSWISS Rolls Out Poker Module on Affilka affiliate management platform to open up its services to online poker sites! (Image from softswiss.com )

SOFTSWISS, which previously focused on the casino and online sports betting industries, has now begun to open up current services and develop new services for poker platforms. The first of these is a new poker module on its Affilka marketing platform that will allow online poker rooms to manage their affiliate partners, optimise what they spend on marketing and analyse return on investment.

Most iGaming firms rely heavily on affiliates who work to attract new members to their sites. SOFTSWISS, which is primarily a casino and sports betting aggregation platform that allows clients to get an out of the box online platform without having to handle payments, licensing, acquiring contracts with software providers, and customer service, created Affilka to give clients tools to help manage their partnering affiliates.

Great news for poker platforms, this module allows operators to take advantage of the excellent tools that Affilka offers too. The module can track a ton of interesting data that will help clients scale how they pay their affiliates and monitor the activity of the new players brought in by those affiliates. They can track the effectiveness of the program’s affiliates use, analyse player behaviour, and use the data to make better marketing decisions going forward.

The new module features an updated API that can track and process the gaming activity of users playing on poker websites. Aside from tracking data, new registrations and financial transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, Affilka can now track a wealth of other player data including:

  • Rounds Count: How many rounds a player plays
  • Bets Sum: How much the player has spent
  • Rake Sum: The total commission the site takes from a poker game
  • Bonuses Sum: How much the site has given a player in bonuses
  • Balance Corrections Sum: How many manual adjustments are made to a player’s balance
  • Third-Party Fees: The total fees a poker site might have paid for third-party services
  • Net Revenue: The net profit earned by the poker site

Operators can take that data into consideration when calculating CPA, RevShare, or Hybrid deals with affiliates. For example, an operator calculating a CPA deal could use parameters such as paying a commission only if a player has deposited a certain amount of money in a specified time frame. Or, the operator could negotiate a RevShare deal that pays affiliates a percentage of the net revenue earned from each player the affiliate brought to the platform.

Anastasia Borovaya, a Product Owner at Affilka, stated that she was delighted to announce the launch of the eagerly anticipated poker module that enables Affilka to expand into yet another iGaming genre. She states that poker is an important part of the iGaming industry and that this tool will now allow operators to manage and analyse their new and existing affiliates.

How Does Poker Compare to Live Casino Poker?

If you’re yet to play at an online poker site, you might be wondering what the difference is between what they offer and the games you can already play at a live online casino?

Well, when you play popular live poker games such as Evolution’s Caribbean Stud, Casino Hold’em, Three Card Poker, Side Bet City, or Ultimate Texas Hold’em, you’re playing against the house (the casino). In normal poker, you compete against other players via cash games, sit and go’s or tournaments. Poker sites make their money out of a commission that is taken from the player’s bets or buy-ins into tournaments.
