Rhode Island now boasts a legal online casino industry, and Stakelogic has become the first live dealer game provider in the state. The news comes via an amicable deal with Bally’s casino brand.

The deal is in place, and Stakelogic is anticipated to be up and running by April 2024.

Another feat worth mentioning is that Stakelogic has become the fourth live casino brand offering live dealer games in the USA. Ezugi was the first to enter. It was followed by Evolution, which is now Ezugi’s parent company. Playtech also followed with live studios in the country. Now these 3 brands will face competition from Stakelogic.

As for Rhode Island, it is the latest state to pass legislation that allows online casino gaming via mobile apps or desktop. In other words, online casino gaming.

Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, and Connecticut have already established online casino markets. With Rhode Island now in the picture, that makes it seven states in the USA with online casinos.

Also, Nevada has an iGaming industry, but for online poker gambling only making it eight states with legal iGaming industries.

Stakelogic Live: Originally players began to take note of Stakelogic via its video slots portfolio. However, the slot developer decided to enter the live casino space. For more info, you can gamble on live dealer platforms via the Stakelogic live casinos list here.

Rhode Island dominated by Bally’s Corporation and Stakelogic Live

It seems that Rhode Island may not have enough room for competing live dealer brands. There is a population of just above 1 million. When you consider Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania have populations over 10 million each, this makes sense.

With only 1 million people to target, and Stakelogic already in there, setting up a studio to target such a small population may not be financially justified. That is unless Playtech or Evolution can make a deal to stream games from their Michigan or Pennsylvania studios into the state. However, that seems highly unlikely at this junction.

Most state laws require the live dealer studio and game to operate within state borders. That is except for West Virginia. In WV, casinos can connect to the Evolution live casino studio. Stakelogic will set up its studios within one or both of Bally’s Rhode Island land-based casinos.

Another law is that all games must operate from a venue that already has approved licensing to offer casino games. As Bally’s is the only company that has land-based casinos in Rhode Island, that gives the company a monopoly on the state’s online gambling. Hence the title of this section.

All software providers for virtual casino games like video slots will need to arrange a B2B supply deal with Bally’s Corporation.

Plenty of room for more live dealer platforms in the US

While the state of Rhode Island might not be a justifiable target for the likes of Evolution or Playtech, there is still plenty of room for more live casino platforms in the USA. Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania are the most lucrative targets.

For Stakelogic to break into these states, there is some scope. Bally’s operates in Atlantic City, New Jersey could become a target for Stakelogic via its existing deal with Bally’s Corporation.

As for other deals across the US, Stakelogic has online slots across the country in states where online casinos are legal. If the company!

CEO of Stakelogic Commented: Stephan van den Oetelaar said: “We are very excited about our partnership with Bally’s as it will finally enable Stakelogic Live to bring its technology to the U.S”.
