Throughout 2021, TVBET, who recently marked 5 years in the industry by earning (a record for them) 5 nominations at the 2021 SBC Awards, has continued to enjoy an upward trajectory in the live gaming space. During the year, the live casino provider has penned a series of partnerships that have allowed it to expand into a variety of new markets, including Montenegro, Poland, Georgia, Mexico, Asia, and South Africa.
The latter, in particular, is a market that TVBET believes holds enormous growth potential, and the company has now strengthened its position further in the region via a new collaboration with Bitville Gaming, a South African iGaming development company. This deal means that a selection of TVBET’s best live casino titles will now feature on eBet Swaziland, an online sports betting site that also features video slots and lottery games. TVBET’s popular titles that now feature on eBet Swaziland include Fruitrace, 1Bet, Lucky6, WheelBet, 5Bet, 7Bet, and Keno.
TVBET has long admitted its desire to get a foothold in African markets after analysing the current state of the iGaming industry in the region. The firm’s analysis established that African players previously preferred to play at local land-based casinos, but COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown and travel restrictions have changed the state of play. The firm also established that mobile technology has developed at a rapid rate in the country and that there are 1.71 mobile phones per person in South Africa. Throw in the findings that two-thirds of the population has gambled on at least one occasion, and you can see why TVBET is making a concerted effort to get its mobile-optimised live casino games into the market.
Latest in a line of SA partnerships: This latest partnership follows similar deals with Koolbet237 and LionsBet, two Africa-based online casinos and sports betting sites that now feature TVBET’s full live casino suite of games. We doubt that this will be the last either, as TVBET strives to become the leading live casino provider in the region.
