This coming Sunday marks the start of the week-long PartyPoker US Network Progressive Knockout Bounty Online Series in New Jersey. Featuring eight tournaments and combined prize pools of over $250k, poker players will no doubt flock to the state to take part.
With the 2020 World Series of Poker finally, in the history books following the crowning of Damian Salas as the Main Event winner, poker players have had to look elsewhere for some action. Thankfully, they now have the option of taking part in the PartyPoker US Network Progressive Knockout Bounty Online Series if they can get themselves to New Jersey.
All players within the state of New Jersey can take part in the tournament series via PartyPoker, Borgata Poker, or BetMGM Poker.
It offers a single tournament each day starting from Sunday the 21st Feb until Sunday the 28th. Buy-ins for the tournaments start as low as $109 and rise as high as the $535 needed to enter the final event, which is the $535 – $100k Guaranteed PKO 8-Max Bounty Main Event.
Kicking off the action is the $215 Learn WPT PKO 6-Max Bounty. Offering a prize pool guarantee of $40k, this curtain-raising event is sure to attract huge numbers. This event is also the first ‘LearnWPT’ event since LearnWPT and PartyPoker formed their partnership, which is designed to educate players on poker strategies and playing styles.
Just seven days later on Sunday the 28th is the Main Event which marks the end of the tournament series. That event has a buy-in of $535, a prize pool guarantee of $100k, and is an 8-max progressive knock out bounty event.
