The results are finally in and we can now tell you which of the many live casino brands have walked away with prestigious awards at the 2022 EGR B2B Awards hosted last night in London. The illustrious event took place from 8pm at The Brewery in England’s capital and awarded the winners of 42 categories across three key categories in the iGaming industry.

Those were headlining, a category that covers the most hotly contested awards, software & network, and services. Among each category were leading providers of casino games, bingo, eSports, virtual sports, payment services, sportsbooks, aggregation platforms, and more!

The biggest news of the event, in terms of the live casino genre, is that Evolution’s 12-year run of winning the Live Casino Supplier of the Year has now come to an end. It had to happen sometime, especially considering the quantity and quality of the live casino suppliers now operating in the live casino space.

The live supplier that has now taken the title from Evolution is Vivo Gaming, a brand that has developed an array of live casino products in the past year. Vivo Gaming not only had to overcome Evolution to scoop this award but many other leading live casino brands as well. Those nominated for this award included Pragmatic Play Live, Ezugi, TVBet, Amusnet Interactive, Betgames, SA gaming, SwinttLive, Vivo Gaming, and CreedRoomz.

2021 Winners: Aside from Evolution, other big winners at the 2021 EGR B2B awards included BetConstruct (Skill Games Supplier), Playtech (Aggregator Platform), 1×2 Network (Slot Provider), and Relax Gaming (Casino Software Supplier).

Vivo Rewarded After a Strong Year of Developing New Titles and Technologies

It would have taken something special to wrench this award out of the grip of Evolution, but after a year of innovation, Vivo Gaming has achieved just that. Over the past twelve months, the supplier has launched fantastic new live titles, including Sic Bo and Absolute Blackjack, alongside an array of other innovative products. That includes the firm’s Chroma Key offering, which allows operators to create their own background visuals. Operators can effectively place a live dealer in front of any backdrop, animation, setting, or logo.

Other new additions include a new CMS lobby that is now fully interactive and a new promotional tool. A live thumbnail lets players watch a short replay of the tables in action. The now 2022 EGR B2B Live Casino Supplier of the Year has done all of this while continuing to aggressively expand across numerous European, Asian, and Latam iGaming markets.

Other Leading Brands That Received Recognition via Awards

While Vivo Gaming’s award is one of the biggest talking points, there were another 41 handed out throughout the awards ceremony. With regard to brands operating in the live casino vertical, Pragmatic Play Live, who scooped Live Casino Supplier at the 2022 IGA Awards earlier in the year, added to that with yet another award. This time, it was the Casino Software Supplier Award, another hotly competitive award category that included shortlisted brands such as Yggdrasil, Relax Gaming, Playtech, iSoftBet, NetEnt and Red Tiger Gaming. Swinnt and Playtech also took home the Innovation in Mobile and Poker Supplier awards, respectively.

As for other major award winners announced throughout the night, NetEnt and Red Tiger Gaming made up for Evolution’s loss by jointly winning the Slot Supplier of the Year Award. Both companies are owned by Evolution alongside Ezugi and Big Time Gaming, so the leading brand did not leave completely empty-handed. AvatarUX also capped a meteoric rise in the iGaming industry by winning the first-ever EGR B2B Slot Rising Star of the Year Award. Finally, SOFTSWISS, a leading aggregation platform, won the Aggregator of the Year award after beating out the likes of BetConstruct, SlotMatrix, iSoftBet, and Pariplay.

We will next hear from EGR in October when the EGR Operator of the Year Awards takes place at Grosvenor House in London on the 27th. Until then, look below to check out the awards of many of the major categories at the 2022 EGR B2B Awards.
