2023 IGA Live Casino Award Shortlist Announced – International Gaming Awards!

The live casino supplier of the year shortlist for February’s 2023 International Gaming Awards are out. Altogether there are 33 awards being dished out at the event giving the opportunity to bring down plenty more accolades for some of the live dealer software providers we know so well.

On the same day, online gambling suppliers and operators will have the chance to take down a flurry of other iGaming and sports betting awards. Why?

Because the 2023 Global Gaming Awards is also taking place. The IGA event will be held in London’s Savoy Hotel while the GGA is only a few minutes around the corner at London’s Hippodrome Casino. Both locations are in London’s West End, famous for its theatres, nightlife, and shopping.

Many of the operators and supplier attending will already have booked their place at the 2023 ICE London event, which will begin on 7 February – the day after the IGA and GGA events. ICE will run over the course of 3 days concluding on 9 February. That’s 4 days of networking with other online gambling firms, and 4 days’ worth of iGaming news coming your way.

However, for this report, the focus is on the 2023 IGA Live Casino Suppliers award shortlist. On top of this, you will find numerous other interesting awards up for grabs in this year’s event.

2023 IGA Live Casino Award Shortlist

In the 2022 ‘Live Casino’ category, Pragmatic Play Live took the hours, but this year the software provider didn’t make the shortlist. Also, I have never seen Evolution compete for this award or any other IGA award for that matter.

Predictions: I am rarely correct when I make predictions, but I feel Vivo Gaming will take the trophy simply because the company won the 2022 EGR B2B ‘Live Casino of the Year’ award – you find out more about Vivo Gaming here.

2023 IGA Online Casino Operator Award Shortlist

Online casino operators are the companies that give us live dealer platforms to sign up to. It’s always great to see the judges votes on the brands they feel have made the biggest impact on the iGaming scene. There are tough pickings as two my favourite operators are up for awards – LeoVegas (LeoVegas & Royal Panda casinos) and Rootz (Wheelz and Wildz casinos). Plus, Soft2Bet is also in the running – you’ll find casinos such as Alf, Boa Boa, and Malina all

Predictions: Purely out of my favoritism for Rootz, LeoVegas and Soft2Bet it has to be one of these 3 that pick up the award. I’d lean more towards Rootz and SoftBet because neither have won this award in the past, and this could be one of their years.

2023 IGA Mobile Operator Award Shortlist

Playing live casino on your mobile is now something you take as a given these days. In the past, we had to play on our desktop devices, but now live dealer software providers have designed their games to coincide with the modern HTML5 web browser as well as Android/iOS mobile apps. In fact, when you look at all the top live casino games today, I can’t think of any that are not available for smartphone and tablet gameplay. Therefore, this is a great category to highlight.

Predictions: Have you already guessed? Yes, it’s LeoVegas for me because I know its mobile platform is perfect for all live dealer games because I play there. The First International Gaming Awards Crypto Company Accolade

Awards we will see coming into the fold more often across iGaming events surrounding the undeniably successful cryptocurrency casino and sports betting market. In fact, cryptos are so popular, even the Malta Gaming Authority will bring them online soon.

This year the best ‘Crypto Company’ awards shortlist for the IGA event is as follows:

Predictions: SoftSwiss all the way for this one. This one I am confident about, so please don’t let me down judges! If I get just this one right out of the 4 predictions made, I’ll be ecstatic.
