Future of AI in Live Casinos

Get the lowdown on the future of AI in live casinos from BetGames and Livecasinocentral – a game development expert and industry guru! (Photo by cottonbro studio on pexels.com )

Previously, I covered a news report/blog from the same software provider – BetGames Shares Live Casino Trends. This time, BetGames weighs in on one of the key topics within those trends – artificial intelligence.

There is no doubt Ai is a trending topic across all industries. For me, and probably for you, if you are reading about the topic, it is pummelling my YouTube and Google News feeds. And it feels like every other news report on my feed has something to do with AI.

Of course, AI in my news feeds is partly my own doing. Google’s algorithm has a knack for knowing which topics I am interested in. Live casino articles, online slots, cryptocurrency, travel, football, tech, and now we can add AI to that list.

One of the most recent AI headlines to pass by my feed must have sent the Google algorithm into a frenzy as it was a mix of AI and live casino courtesy of a news report/blog created by the BetGames live dealer platform’s news feed. Two for the price of one!

And as I did with the previous BetGames Share Live Casino Trends report, I’ll cover the topics the game developer covers and weigh in with my opinion from a player’s point of view.

Personalised Gameplay Recommendations

Going back to the Google news feed mentioned in the intro. I like how the feed predicts the type of news I want to read. It gave me the BetGames Future of AI in Live Casinos news/blog. Imagine the same suggestions for live casino games. Yes, I hear you. Most casinos already do this, but imagine more tailored game suggestions.

Here are some ideas:

  • Games for Bonus Hunters: You can use game suggestions for games valid for bonus money bets. The bonus would need to be specific to your preferred games. For example, Wheel of Fortune game shows, blackjack, or roulette.
  • Specific Game Features: If you are into roulette with multipliers or a specific style of Blackjack, such as tables with no queues or tables that allow double downson any total, AI will have the intelligence to fish out these specific games for you and suggest them.

Enhanced Player Interactions

Personalised avatars will be one of the game-changing features introduced to online casinos. I already saw a hint of this when I cover the new BetConstruct Metaverse – BCVerse. BetGames mentions this as ‘AI-powered virtual avatars or chatbots’. Now if you have used ChatBot GPT, you’ll know how good it is at general knowledge Q&As. Imagine one trained for the specific needs of a live casino player. You’ll have instant and personalised support at your fingertips.

  • Real-Time Data Analytics

AI has long been a part of data analytics in online casinos. However, more advanced models are now accessible, meaning faster and more accurate data processing is on the horizon. One key point the BetGames software provider makes is ‘player behaviour’ analytics. This can be used across a wide scope of tasks. For example, helping players gamble responsibly, adjusting graphics to suit the player’s preferences, and customising live casino promotions. The latter goes hand in hand with ‘Personalised Gameplay Recommendations’ mentioned in the ‘Personalised Gameplay Recommendations’ above.

  • Fraud Detection and Security

Once again AI has been available and part of numerous fraud protection and security software used by casinos and eComm stores. Yet, these models, although advanced, are basic compared to the more powerful AI that is coming into the tech market over the recent months. The keyword here is ‘intelligence’. The latest AI models coming onto the market are so ‘intelligent’ and can process far more data than existing software versions, AML, cyber-attack prevention, and fraud detection will become so advanced, that Ai will likely eradicate these issues.

  • Voice Recognition and Natural Language Processing

Voice recognition and language processing tools up until now have been OK. Meaning ‘OK’ is the best rating I can give the software I have used thus far. Future models using Al will become far more efficient and faster at recognising people’s voices. One highlight not in the BetGames report is the fact that AI will also help casinos reach a far wider audience through language translation too.

  • Continuous Improvement

The key point in all the sections above is that AI will continue to improve. As I said, it has already been used within certain software tools. Most people probably don’t call it AI because it is simply software coded to perform certain tasks and react to certain instances. Newer versions of AI can now solve problems, think using reasoning, and perform many tasks that needed human intervention.

  • What about AI dealers and croupiers?

Well, you have to draw the line somewhere. Playing with an AI robot or person versus a real person is incomparable for the time being. I’d much rather have a real-life dealer hosting my games, but eventually, I would say future AI will be used for dealers and croupiers. It will likely be something snuck into the Metaverse as if it were the norm rather than connecting to live dealers. Either way, I for one am not a fan of this particular idea.
