Evolution teased it at the start of the month and as ever, two weeks later, the full launch is here. The leading iGaming brand’s new live roulette gameshow is now live.

Gold Bar Roulette is one of the planned releases that caught our eye when Evolution hosted its online event back in February of this year. As the months rolled on, we started to learn more and more about what to expect.

With Gold Bar Roulette now live, it seems that we were right with most aspects of the game. If you win a straight-up bet, you will receive between 5 and 20 gold bars. Each of those gold bars is worth a multiplier of 88x that you can use for future straight-up bets. You can even stack those bars on the same bet to set potential multipliers of 176x, 264x, 352x, or even more!

Most of you will already know of the success of Evolution’s Lightning Roulette due to the random multipliers, but what will appeal with Gold Bar Roulette is the ability to have control over which numbers you want to have multipliers attached. You can form your own strategy for how you use your accrued gold bars.

You could save them up to cover more of the numbers during a single spin or combine them all on fewer numbers to reduce your chances of winning, but also offer the potential of a huge payout.

This is how a round of Gold Bar Roulette works:

  1. You place your straight-up bets (single number bets).
  2. The live croupier/host opens four safes.
  3. Each will contain 1-5 gold bars, bringing a total of 4-20.
  4. When the roulette wheel stops, whoever wagered on the correct number will win that number of gold bars

On the next round (or any subsequent round), players can then use those gold bars to place 88x multipliers on straight-up bets. You can stack those multipliers as well to create the potential for even bigger payouts.

Lightning Roulette was the reason Evolution, the live casino industries pioneer, won the ‘Product Innovation of the Year’ Award at the 2018 Global Gaming Awards. With this latest live title, it will be interesting to see if it helps Evolution pick up similar awards this year.

Evolution Opens Live Casino in Connecticut

In other Evolution news, the leading live casino supplier has further expanded in the US by opening its fourth live studio in the country. To supply players in the regulated Connecticut iGaming market, Evolution had to create a brand new studio within the state. The studio will go live on July 18 and will employ an initial 140 people in Connecticut.

Evolution already has similar studios in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, other states that have recently legalised online casino gambling. The brand also powers its live casino presence in West Virginia via its Pennsylvania studio. Additionally, Evolution has live studios in numerous other countries, including Riga, Malta, Belgium, Canada, Lithuania, Romania, and Spain.

The live brand initially underwent a soft launch on July 11 that was under the close eye of the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. This lasted seven days and gave players temporary access to various Roulette and Blackjack tables. As long as the CDCP did not find anything that goes against their regulations during that soft launch, Evolution should go live at online casinos, including DraftKings and FanDuel in a few days’ time. As Evolution is regarded as the best in the business, this can only be seen as excellent news for casino fans in the state.

Connecticut’s Governor, Ned Lamont, commented on this latest development by saying:

With the addition of Evolution, we are continuing to provide a modern, technologically advanced gaming experience in Connecticut.
