We have a new player in town ready to supply online casinos licenced under the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). The BETER Live MGA licence is now confirmed, enabling the live dealer platform to offer its B2B supply services to operators under the same framework.

With operators also licenced by the MGA always looking for new brands to host in their live dealer lobbies, it won’t be long before our live casino reviews include BETER as one of the software providers hosted.

BETER Live is a newbie to the live casino gambling arena as the brand came online just this year. Despite its infancy, the company already shows it has high ambitions by gaining one of the most noteworthy licences in the iGaming industry today. In order to gain the licence, the company’s games and software passed the BMM Test Labs certification, financial reviews, responsible gambling prerequisites, and more.

Despite the developer being relatively new to the scene, the BETER Live casino games library is already growing rapidly. It includes live Blackjack, live Roulette, live Baccarat, live Sic Bo, live Dragon Tiger, live Top Card, live Bet on Teen Patti and live Andar Bahar. All games are also mobile optimised, giving access to players on smartphones and tablets, while of course, all games work smoothly for desktop and laptop players too.

The company already has a remarkable delivery platform that earned it silver in this year’s SBC Awards for the ‘Industry Innovation of the Year’. On top of this, the firm has already gained recognition from other top iGaming brands. Case and point, BETER Live has partnered with the likes of BetConstruct, Parimatch, and leading white label online casino aggregator platform SOFTSWISS.

Anna Vikmane, Director at BETER Live, said: “Malta is one of the most established and respected gambling jurisdictions in the world so securing a prestigious MGA licence is a milestone moment for BETER Live”.

Why does the the BETER Live Casino Brand Favour the MGA Licence?

The MGA licence is one of the most prestigious covering multiple regions. Players from South Africa, India, the Republic of Ireland, Canada and New Zealand that want to play live casino games using their domestic currency often sign up for MGA casinos.

FYI: I only mention the regions we cover here at Livecasinocentral in the intro to this section. The MGA licence also covers many other countries across Europe, Africa, South America and Asia, where online gambling is legal. Plus, there is a full complaints service and legal mediation in case player and casino cannot come to agreement when a dispute/complaint needs resolving.

In short, and very importantly, the licensing authority focuses on protecting casino players that play at casinos operating under its framework. It does this via various rules operators must follow or risk fines, licence suspension or worst still cancellation. Furthermore, the regulations protect players’ consumer rights, privacy, and casino balances regardless of whether they are an EU citizen or not.

What’s more, the MGA also ensures casinos offer games only from fully licenced software providers. And as a final safety measure in the interest of players, all online gambling establishments licenced with the MGA must have certified RNG (Random Number Generator) and software security certificates.

Anna Vikmane further commented on the MGA licence: “This enables us to partner with more operators in more global markets than ever before, ensuring that players across the world can access our thrilling and entertaining live dealer content, which also includes never seen before features”.

Live Dealer Space Continues to Grow & Existing Brands Expand

Live dealer gaming is the fastest-growing iGaming vertical right now, and BETER live is included in one of my earlier reports covering 35+ Live Casino Brands now operating. As the number of slot developers coming online slows slightly, the live dealer space continues to grow with new entrants. And many of those newbies are now picking up licencing from across the globe. Each new licence allows their platforms to supply operators and aggregators via B2B deals. Operators then host the live games on their online casino-branded websites and players like you and me have access to a diverse collection of games from a wide range of software providers.

Live dealer brands to watch out for in 2023? Although Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech and Evolution are the market leaders in live casino, the competition is coming in thick and fast. CreedRoomz (previously BetConstruct), EGT Interactive Live, Stakelogic Live, OnAir Entertainment, and Skywind Group are all up-and-coming brands that will almost certainly make a considerable amount of noise in 2023. Even more interesting will be how each one performs in the many iGaming awards ceremonies across the globe.
