The WowPot jackpot is back to €2m once again after the Microgaming WowPot paid out for the second time in the history of the progressive jackpot network creating yet another millionaire! This time the jackpot payout came via the Sherlock & Moriarty video slot and now officially the second largest WowPot payout to date!

Just last week, we reported that the first WowPot jackpot paid out after a long wait that took more than 2 years since the grand opening of the networked progressive jackpot for WowPot titles.

Over that 26-month period, the jackpot built up to an impressive €17,529,047.11 when a lucky player landed the millionaire’s windfall playing the Book of Atem WowPot slot title! The jackpot immediately reset to its default €2 million, ready to build up another huge 8-digit number, but instead of gaining momentum, a player landed a €2,025,388.75, resetting the jackpot back to €2 million once again!

Just like betting on roulette’s zero, sometimes it doesn’t come for 100 coups and suddenly the zero keeps on landing! That could be the case with the WowPot and maybe there is more to come. As the old saying goes ‘good luck always comes in threes’ and when it comes to online casino games that is often the case. If the WowPot lands again anytime soon, we will be sure to gloat that we already called it!

Over 26 months in action, Microgaming’s WowPot progressive jackpot network has paid out more than €30 million in jackpot wins, while the entire MPJN (Microgaming Progressive Jackpot Network) boasts over €1.3 billion in wins!

Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot

The Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot slot title, a theme that takes players on an exciting Victorian-era London detective adventure, entered Microgaming’s WowPot jackpot network in March 2021 via the dedicated Just For The Win developer studio. At the time it was the fifth slot title in the series, while since then the Queen of Alexandria WowPot video slot became the sixth edition! The newly introduced and fifth WowPot title became an immediate hit dishing out 6-digit wins from the offset. One lucky winner cracked the featured ‘major case’ on the day of its release, which saw the player land a €440,481.82 Major jackpot win, while after less than a month in action Sherlock & Moriarty is now responsible for €3.5 million in jackpot prizes!

One of the highest paying video slots in the WowPot collection the Wheel of Wishes title which has been there since the beginning. It is responsible for more than €12 million in jackpots while the highest payout from this slot game currently stands at €327,631.71!
