What an exciting month it has been for live casino game show players!

Three new live game show titles have hit the live casino entertainment arena.

A brand new Treasure Island Wheel of Fortune game from Pragmatic Play – one like no other!

This one is special because it moves away from the traditional bet on fixed numbers and offers gems with random multipliers and nine bonus rounds!

Evolution also released a new game show derived from one of the Crazy Time Wheel of Fortune bonus games. I’ll dig deeper into this new title called Crazy Pachinko in the mini-reviews below.

As Pragmatic Play has reinvented the segments on its wheel, OnAir Entertainment has gone one step further by reinventing the position of its wheel in its brand-new live Wheel of Fortune Game show – Travel Feaver. It’s kind of like a live Wheel of Fortune roulette game.

If you missed out on last month’s report, we also saw some exciting new games in the New Live Casino Games October 2023 update. K-Pop Roulette Live by Playtech, Red Door Roulette with the Crazy Time Bonus, and Ezugi’s brand new live baccarat studio. To top it off, Prosperity Tree Baccarat by Evolution came online too!

Treasure Island Gameshow by Pragmatic Play Live

Wheel of Fortune games began with Dreamcatcher, Mega Wheel, and Spin ‘A’ Win. New versions began to add bonus rounds, starting with Monopoly Live.

Then, more bonus rounds were added via Crazy Time. After this came Adventures Beyond Wonderland, Funky Time and Sweet Bonanza Candyland. However, despite their varying themes, the bonus + multiplier betting options have left software providers stuck on what to develop next.

Playtech did well with its Money Drop Live casino game, which is a completely new way to play wheel of fortune games. BetGames Wheel of Fortune title is a littl different too as it has 18 ways to bet using almost a mix between Sic Bo and Roulette style of betting. However, as brilliant as these games are, they are not bonus style Wheel of Fortune of titles.

Pragmatic Play Live needed to be a little more inventive in order to introduce another Wheel of Fortune variant with bonus round. And that’s exactly what the software provider did with Treasure Island!

• 3 Gem Stones: You place bets on three gemstones. Each one comes with random multipliers, some higher than the others. The Yellow Topaz gemstone is the lowest, with 1x to 10x multipliers. In the middle is the Green Emerald, giving you multipliers between 1x and 20x. The Red Ruby is the highest-value gemstone, with multipliers worth between 3x and 50x.

Travel Fever Gameshow by OnAir Entertainment

If you are looking for another Wheel of Fortune game that has reinvented the wheel, then Travel Fever by OnAir Entertainment’s Travel Fever is it. Released in the same month as Treasure Island, it will undoubtedly give Pragmatic Play’s new game show a run for its money.

It uses a horizontal wheel, which we have not seen before. The theme captures the hearts and minds of players across the globe who live to travel. You probably guessed that from the name! OnAir Entertainment describes it as ‘A Unique Travel Escapade’.

Guess what? This game also comes with 6 bonus rounds matching Treasure Island. What are the chances of two software providers both releasing new and innovative game shows in the same month. Perfect if you play an online casino with both OnAir Entertainment and Pragmatic Play Live games. (See the accompanying table).

The Bonus Rounds

1. Flying Dice: It doesn’t come any easier than this as you enter a Plinko-style bonus round, with a dice deciding your multiplier awards.
2. Lucky Hike: This bonus game takes you on an adventurous holiday hike using a compass for your travels. It will guide you to multiplier wins.
3. Golden Spin: Land this bonus, and you get one spin on the 9 Pots of Gold slot game starring the lucky Leprechaun from Ireland. In this game, you could hit one of the fixed jackpots with golden pots full of multipliers. We have not reviewed this game yet, hence the detailed bonus information. We do plan on reviewing it next week when we have at least 1,000 spins experience. Crazy Pachinko Live by Evolution

I have to admit, when I first saw the title, I wasn’t keen on playing a Pachinko game. However, when I opened the game and began playing, I realised there was much more to it. It is a live slot using the XXXtreme feature from Evolution Gaming’s XXXtreme collection of roulette and baccarat games. Plus, this is also a bonus round from Crazy Time.

In October, we saw the release of Red Door Roulette roulette, which uses the Crazy Time bonus round from the Crazy Time Wheel of Fortune game show title. We’ve also seen the Crazy Coin Flip bonus round turned into the Crazy Coin Flip live slot game. Those are two Crazy Time Bonus games re-engineered into stand-alone game shows.

Evolution has now gone for number three with Crazy Pachinko Live. All we are missing now to complete the collection is the ‘Cash Hunt Bonus Game’, which, in many ways, Gonzo’s Treasure Map mimics. OK, it isn’t quite the same, but it is close.

I am sure we’ll see Cash Hunt in next year’s Evolution road map usually announced officially at the ICE London event. Well, ‘sure’ is a bit of a strong word, but I’m going to take punt and say there’s an 80% chance – let’s see if I am right!

A brief overview of Crazy Pachinko’s gameplay!

• Qualification Stage: Aim to get three scatters in the qualification slot; line payouts possible.
• XXXtreme Spins Feature: Option to buy help; guarantees one scatter per spin or all three for feature buy.
• Scatter Mechanics: Scatters may have up to 10x multipliers and are sticky, moving down one line each spin.
• Top-up Stage: Optional phase to add 2x to 10,000x multipliers to the final round at a cost.
• Pachinko Wall Round: Multipliers and Doubles are assigned to prizes; presenter drops puck into prize pots.
• Bonus Round Dynamics: If puck lands on a multiplier, payout is made; if it’s a double, prizes are doubled and puck is redropped.

Crazy Time Bonus Rounds Reinvented into Game Shows!

This is also another gameshow we are yet to review. However, it is in the works. We usually like to play at least 500 to 1,000 rounds before we develop a review.
