Find the latest winners of the North America SBC Awards 2022 even held in New Jersey USA – BetConstruct, Evolution & Playtech win silver! (Image by Engin Akyurt on pexels.com)
The SBC went stateside last week with its North American summit, and as per usual it ended with an awards ceremony. Top live dealer brands well-known across Europe and now operating in Ontario Canada and US iGaming awards walked away with silver awards.
North America SBC Awards 2022 Category: Supplier
Playtech, Evolution and BetConstruct proudly tool down silver across the event’s ‘Supplier Awards’ category.
Playtech only just missed out on a huge win, and really silver in the ‘Platform Provider of the Year’ award is still an excellent achievement. The winner was White Hat Gaming, which is a well-known white-label casino platform provider operating casinos under UKGC and MGA licences.
Bet & Wonder, the owner of the Authentic Gaming live dealer brand took down the ‘Casino Supplier of the Year’ award – perhaps the most prestigious award of the North America SBC Awards.
Evolution was close to the mark for the same award and just lost out on gold but will be happy to take down the ‘silver’ award.
Or maybe not, as the brand is used to cleaning up in the same event in Europe. The brand recently won silver for live casino supplier of the year at the EGR B2B 2022 after just losing out to Vivo Gaming. Evolution is currently the holder of the SBC 2021 ‘Live Casino Supplier’ award from the European event held in Barcelona. The SBC 2022 shortlist is already out, and the main event is set to take place in September.
Also, Bet & Wonder’s parent brand Scientific Games was triumphant in the sports awards section too after winning the prestigious North America SBC Awards 2022 Sportsbook Supplier of the Year via another one of its brands – OpenBet (Scientific Games). And to finalise a successful event, Scientific Games won silver in the ‘Lottery Supplier’ of the year award. The winner was International Game Technology (IGT), a brand I fully expect to enter the live casino niche at some point in the future.

North America SBC Awards 2022 Category: Operator
As for the award winner over in the ‘Operator Awards’ category, these were made up mostly of brands that have dominated the US iGaming and sports betting markets since online gambling started to make its return. The likes of DraftKings (Sportsbook of the Year), BetMGM (Casino Operator of the Year), and Caesars Sportsbook (Marketing Campaign & Sponsorship of the Year). UK and London Stock Exchange listed PLC Entain Group also shone after taking down the ‘Socially Responsible Operator of the Year’ award in the ‘Operator’ category.

North America SBC Awards 2022 Category: Payment Solutions
It is always interesting to see how popular payment providers are in other continents. Two names that always seem to be in the running are Trusty and Paysafe. Both these brands are continuously neck-a-neck when a ‘payment solutions’ honour is up for grabs in an awards event.
The last time these two clashed in an SBC event was in the SBC awards 2021 in the European version of the event. Trustly won the ‘Payment Solution of the Year’. The brand also beat Paysafe in the recent 2022 GGA event winning the ‘Payment Solution of the Year’ again with Paysafe coming second. However, this time around the North America SBC Awards 2022 judging panel voted in favour of Paysafe for the ‘Payment Innovation of the Year’ honour to which Trusty picked up ‘Silver’.
