What a line-up the SBC 2022 has in store for us, but don’t get too excited just yet. The event will not place for another 3 months.

On 22 September from 7 pm to 1 am in The Palau Nacional, Barcelona, there will be 45 award categories from 5 online gambling business sectors. Those business sectors include Operator & Supplier Awards (2 awards), Supplier (21 awards), Payment (4 awards), Operator (15 awards), and Affiliate (3 awards).

There are several live casino and live dealer software platform provider names we know and love all up for awards. From our live casino review section, live casinos. Meanwhile, King Billy (an N1 Interactive casino running on SOFTSWISS) finds its way into the Marketing Campaign of the Year.

White Label iGaming Aggregator Platforms up for Awards

Adding to this, some of our favourite white-label live casino aggregator platforms that host a large number of online casino brands we cover in the live casino review section. SOFTSWISS (the King Billy Casino aggregator), Soft2Bet and Aspire Group have found their way onto multiple shortlists.

Predictions: It’s never easy to make predictions for any awards event. However, below I cover some of the categories with some of the most interesting brands, and I have made an attempt at predicting who I think will win the awards highlighted.

Live Casino Supplier of the Year Award Comes with 10 Finalists

For all of us here, and I am sure for all our readers, the award we are all looking for to is the ‘SBC 2022 Live Casino Supplier’ of the year. There are 10 finalists in the bag, and now its just a waiting game for the big night to come around and deliver us a winner.

My prediction for this year is for Pragmatic Play Live to take down the live casino supplier award. The brand will release its Boom City title, which looks impressive. Also, Vivo Gaming may be in with a chance after winning the EGR B2B 2022 Live Casino Supplier of the year award.

Previous SBC ‘Live Casino Supplier’ Winners: 2022 will be the third year this award has been available. 2021’s title holder is Evolution and 2000’s title holder is BetGames.

  • Our Prediction: LeoVegas Group

Rising Star in Casino Innovation/Software (12 Finalists): This award is a big deal this year because there are a few up-and-coming live dealer brands coming through. BETER, PopOK Gaming and On Air Entertainment are all up for the award. Yet, the SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator is also in the running. I have to say, in all likelihood, SOFTSWISS will win this award because the jackpot aggregator has been a standout product on the iGaming scene this year.

  • Last year’s 2021 winner: Swintt
  • Our Prediction: SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator

Platform Provider of the Year (16 Finalists): What a tough lineup to predict. Take your pick from any of these top platforms. Playtech, Soft2bet, White Hat Gaming, Aspire Global, Everymatrix, Light & Wonder, Digitain, Bragg Gaming Group, or Betconstruct. It’s anyone’s guess who can win this award.

Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product (10 Finalists): An interesting award this one, especially as the TVBet live casino platform and also the HollywoodTV live casino platform is up for an award.
