News from the Poker World this week is that 2 big casino players have launched their live poker in the state of Pennsylvania.

BetMGM is a joint venture between heavyweights MGM Casinos and Entain and started the partnership in 2018 out of New Jersey. They have established a major presence in sports betting and casino gaming online through this tie-up. BetMGM entered Pennsylvania at the end of 2020 in December with their sportsbook and over 140 online casino games, then New Jersey’s famous Borgata Casino from the Garden State of Atlantic City followed suit a few months later.

The firm has to operate under different gaming licenses for the state but belong to the same stable of brands which includes BetMGM, Borgata Casino, Party Casino and Party Poker. These are notably the most popular names in the US right now, with huge revenues coming from their iGaming platforms in states where casino and poker gaming is legal online.

But now both brands have their own Poker products in the Keystone State. BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker have the same poker gaming platform powered by Partypoker US network, giving players different poker games, their signature poker tournaments, and cash games for all buy-in levels. And for the launch, they are giving new players entry to a freeroll Tournament for the first week from the 9th to the 16th May and then on the 16th May, a signup bonus of $25 and deposit match of up to $600. For existing customers on their casino apps, if they sign up for a poker account, they will receive an invitation to join a $40,000 Crossover Freeroll tournament on the 16th of May.

This is yet another MGM poker site joining its Michigan online poker site opened just 2 months ago. Now BetMGM is poised to become the number one online poker supplier in the USA. It’s BetMGM online poker is the leading platform in terms of revenue in New Jersey bringing in an average of $1.2 million a month from cash game rakes as well as tournament and Sit’n Go buy-ins, while its Michigan online poker site run in partnership with the MGM Grand Detroit is making headway with its only competitor in the state being PokerStars!

M Life Rewards Points to use at Casinos Nationwide

Another benefit to both sets of customers is the rewards program that MGM and Borgata operate, called the M Life Rewards. Players earn points for every bet they wager with 1 point for every $20 on poker which then can be redeemed for hotel rooms or food at the many restaurants at the physical casinos across the US like MGM Grand, the Bellagio and ARIA in Las Vegas, Beau Rivage in Mississippi and Borgata in Atlantic City, MGM Grand in Detroit and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.

What they said at the Launch

The CEO of BetMGM, Alan Greenblatt, enthused at the launch that the 2 superior poker sites gave residents in Pennsylvania online poker that is highly secure while also extremely entertaining. The 2 poker sites are some of the smoothest and easiest ones in the market to navigate. With the single-wallet integrations with their casino and sports wallets, they give customers an easy way to deposit funds and withdraw winnings. There are plenty of poker games from these reputable brands and a host of popular options such as Grind Rewards, Fast Forward, and Spin the Wheel.

The BetMGM Director of poker, who is Ray Stefanelli, assured that the Poker games would be highly engaging for both new and experienced players and that the US version of Partypoker’s online community was a great way to access training to improve players at every level!
