Pragmatic Play Live New Partnerships & Games – 2023 Round-Up

Pragmatic Play Live. and its Pragmatic Play RNG business has had another busy year. Most of the software providers’ partnership deals span the Latin American market.

Since the previous Live Casino Gambling Company Partnerships Update on Livecasinocentral, Pragmatic Play has made 4 new Latam partnership deals.

The company also partnered with operators to bring its casino games to Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden while expanding on its current deal with NASDAQ Stockholm—listed company Flutter, which operates the Paddy Power and Betfair brands under UKGC and MGA licensing.

On top of this, another mega deal was made with BetMGM and LeoVegas.

I’ll briefly cover all the recent partnership deals below. On top of all this, I count 7 new live casino games released in 2023. It could be more, but for major game releases, excluding expanding studios and private branded deals, 7 is the number!

Where next for Pragmatic Play?

With the UK market saturated and almost all online casinos and aggregators operating under Curacao, iGaming Ontario, KGA, and MGA licensing cornered, Pragmatic Play’s next move for me is the USA. The company has a small presence in New Jersey, but its live casino is yet to appear stateside in any state allowing iGaming. Evolution, Ezugi, Stakelogic, Light & Wonder/Authentic Gaming, and Playtech are the only live dealer brands to break into the USA’s live casino market.

• Africa (2 Deals in 2023: I feel Africa is another area where it will grow. However, most online gambling platforms in Africa use aggregators supplying Pragmatic Play games, so we don’t hear much news from this region. In 2023, there was a B2B deal with 10Bet Spaceman in South Africa and another with PrideBet in Ghana. Those were the only two deals in the continent—nothing close to its Latam expansion.

Latam key to growth: Currently, the brand’s key expansion area is in the Latam market, where over the past 2 years Pragmatic Play has reported 92 partnership deals. Some of them are extensions to existing deals. Nonetheless, when you compare that number to just 7 deals in Africa across 2022 and 2023, and around 36 new partnerships across Europe in the same time period, only 43 partnerships out of 135 reported in 2 years have been outside the Latam region.

How many partnership deals did Pragmatic Play make in Latam in 2023?

According to the software provider’s official news channel, Pragmatic Play made 42 B2B partnership deals in the Latam market in 2023. There are still 5 days remaining this year, but it is unlikely that the brand will beat its 2022 count of 50 B2B supply iGaming deals in the region. And these are only the ones published on the company’s new channels.

There still appears to be plenty of growth for the company in South America and Mexico. While, the USA has to be in Pragmatic Play’s plans somewhere in the future as other brands such as Evolution and Playtech are having so much success in the country. I am also sure there are more Ontario deals, but they were not reported on the offcial Pragmatic Play news channel.

Pragmatic Play’s Most Recent Partnerships

Since the November partnership report, Pragmatic Play has made a series of live casino, bingo, virtual spots, and online slot deals with operators supplying Latin American countries as a whole, Brazil, Paraguay, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia, the UK, and there’s a new deal with LeoVegas, which operates under UKGC, iGaming Ontario, and MGA licensing.

Huge Content Deal with BetMGM and LeoVegas

BetMGM is now the owner of LeoVegas since it bought out LeoVegas AB. Therefore, it seems whenever a software provider makes a new deal with BetMGM, LeoVegas also comes into the fold. Pragmatic Play Live will supply both branded Auto Mega Roulette tables in the latest deal. The live dealer version of the game debuted in February 2021, but in July this year (2023), we released a news report announcing that Pragmatic Play released Auto Mega Roulette.

• BetMGM.co.uk: The UK BetMGM live casino lobbies will host a BetMGM auto Mega Roulette table. Aside from its Ontario iGaming licensing, the UK site is the only country outside the USA where BetMGM operates online gambling entertainment operations.
• LeoVegas: The LeoVegas branded version of Auto Mega Roulette will feature in the LeoVegas.nl online casino in the Netherlands.

• Gaming Platforms (Latin America): The deal supplies the Gaming Platforms operator with Slots, Live Casino, and Virtual Sports games.
• Flutter (UK & MGA): The deal with Flutter take Pragmatic Play’s live casino portfolio to Paddy Power and Betfair in the UK and under the MGA licensing.
• Jogar.com.vc (Brazil): Slots, Live Casino, and Virtual Sports games are now live on the Brazilian sports and casino platform Jogar.com.vc.
• Niké (Slovakia): The latest B2B deal in Slovakia is with Niké providing the platform with online slots only.
• Giro Win (Paraguay and Brazil): A deal that spread 2 Latam countries bringing Pragmatic Play’s Slots, Live Casino, and Virtual Sports games to Giro Win.
