Live Roulette with Multipliers

Enjoy playing roulette online? 18 Live Online Casino Roulette with Multiplier titles – zero in on the most popular casino games in iGaming! (Photo by Luka Savcic on Unsplash)

The allure of winning multipliers via the straight-up bet or through bonus games has made the now popular roulette multiplier feature a fan favourite in live online casinos across the globe.

This guide has 18 single-zero European roulette wheel games, and winning bets can pay 500x, 2,000x, and even up to 10,000x.

With so many variants across a wide range of online casino software providers, keeping track of what’s out there is hard.

Therefore, I have put them all into bite-size mini-reviews. You can read exactly what each game offers, the RTPs, odds, and a brief description of the rules. Plus, you will find a route to a full how-to review if we have played the game and reviewed it here on Livecasinocentral.

Most multiplier roulette titles come with a pay-out multiplier win for successfully betting on a straight-up bet, with the usual 35:1 odds on the straight-up bet slightly reduced. While some games spread the excitement across straight-up bets, split bets, corner bets, and street bets. As for betting, minimum bets are usually around $/€/£ 0.20 or ₹ 20 or 5 R, and maximum bets are typically $-€-£ 2,000 ‘or’ ₹ 4m ‘or’ 1m R. All this without a single American Roulette table!

Also, look out for the last part of this guide because ’10 Recommended Casinos with Roulette Multiplier Games’ are hosting the titles reviewed on this page!

If you are unfamiliar with playing roulette online, the best place to start is our Roulette guide before getting to grips with variants that offer multipliers. For newbies, the guide teaches you about the various bet types available and their payouts which range from 5:1 to 35:1 for inside bets and there are outside even money bets like red or black to learn about too.

How the Multiplier Payouts Work

While playing roulette multiplier games. most require you to bet on a single single-number bet to trigger a big win. However, other games like Mega Fire Blaze, 120X Dyanmaic Roulette, and Ultimate Roulette include other inside bets like split bets, and the corner bet. One game also pays multipliers when you stake red or black, high/low, or odd/even options.

Types of Roulette Games with Multipliers

  • Roulette with Random Multipliers
  • Roulette with Boosted Multipliers
  • Roulette with Bonus Games
  • Roulette with Feature Buy Options

Assigning Lucky Numbers

The game randomly assigns symbols or multipliers to numbers across the betting grid in each new round. This occurs after you place your bet. If the ball lands on the same number on the roulette wheel, you enter the bonus round or win the multiplier. The game will pay all other winning bet types as usual.

Roulette Wheels: Some games use the single-zero (European and French Roulette) with 37 numbers. Other use the American Roulette Wheel with 38 numbers. In each game description below, I’ll be sure to mention which wheel type is being used.

Sequence Table Action
Step 1 Place your bets
Step 2 The roulette ball enters the wheel
Step 3 All bets are off
Step 4 Lucky numbers are randomly assigned to the betting grid
Step 5 If the roulette ball lands on your number, you get paid
Step 6 If your number has a symbol or multiplier from ‘Step 4’ you win a multiplier or bonus round entry

Lightning Roulette and XXXteme Lightning Roulette (Evolution)

Lightning Roulette and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette use a single-zero roulette wheel. Yet both come with a twist. Multiplier wins come from betting on straight-up bets (directly on a number). Essentially, you play your normal game of roulette, betting on outside bets, like red or black and the column bet or dozen bet, and inside bets, like splits, corners, and streets (three number bet). The payouts and house advantage remain the same on these bet types.

  • European Roulette table
  • 97.3% Theoretical RTP
  • Win multipliers on single-number bets
  • Lightning Roulette – Win up to 500x your bet
  • XXXtreme Lighting Roulette – Win up to 2,000x your bet

What is the difference between Lighting Roulette and traditional roulette?

  • Straight-up bets return 29:1 on Lightning Roulette.
  • The straight-up bet pays 19:1 on XXXtreme Lightning Roulette.
  • Both games apply up to five numbers with multipliers to random numbers in each betting round.
  • Lightning Roulette applies random multipliers of 50x – 500x.
  • XXXtreme Lightning Roulette applies multipliers of 50x – 500x. However, a ‘Chain Lightning Round’ could increase them to 600x up to 2,000x.

For more info, check out our How to Play Lightning Roulette guide.

Lighting Roulette Variants Pros & Cons
XXXtreme Lighting Roulette by Evolution
Advantages Disadvantages
Huge multiplier wins Lower Straight-up bet payouts
Special effects More volatile straight-up bets
Innovative gameplay Straight-up return 29:1 or 19:1

Red Door Roulette (Evolution)

In the Red Door Roulette Live casino game, you win multipliers via a bonus game. Red Door Roulette has taken the Crazy Time bonus from the live game show title and brought it over to roulette.

  • European Wheel (Single-Zero).
  • 97.3% Theoretical RTP (Inside and Outside bets).
  • 97.09% Theoretical RTP (Straight-Up bets).
  • Only staking straight-up option will win 40x up to 4,000x your stake.

Here is how the game works:

  • Players can enter the bonus game via any winning single-number bet (any straight-up bet).
  • After the betting timer is over, a mini-slot spins in a number between 1 and 15.
  • The number of multipliers applied equals the number of ‘Key Symbols’ showing on the mini slot.
  • Some key symbols have multipliers of 2x up to 20x assigned.
  • If a player bets on a single number with a ‘Key Symbol’, and the ball lands on that number, he/she enters the Crazy Time bonus.
  • The wheel spins and could land you multipliers of 40x up to 2,000x.
  • If the wheel lands on a double segment, it respins and doubles the multiplier win.
  • The win is multiplied further if your ‘key symbol’ has a multiplier.

Regardless of boosted multipliers, the max is 4,000x your take. For more info, read our brief news overview here – Red Door Roulette Crazy Time Bonus Round.

Live Red Door Roulette Pros & Cons
Red Door Roulette (Evolution)
Advantages Disadvantages
Crazy Time Bonus Game Higher house edge on straight-up bets
Win up to up to 4,000x your bet Straight-up bets pay 19:1
Higher chance of winning multipliers Vs Lighting Roulette Highly volatile bonus bets

Mega Roulette & Auto Mega Roulette (Pragmatic Play)

Compared to Lightning Roulette, Mega Roulette offers a gameplay style with big wins of up to 500x available. Pragmatic Play has released a Mega Roulette version with a host/croupier and an Auto Mega Roulette version. All roulette payouts for outside and inside bets are the same as traditional roulette except for the straight-up bet, which comes with slightly different roulette odds to compensate for the multiplier payouts.

  • European Roulette table layout (Single-Zero).
  • 97.3% Theoretical RTP (Inside and Outside bets).
  • 96.50% Theoretical RTP (Straight-up bet).
  • Only the straight-up bet can win multipliers up to 500x.

Here is how the game works:

  • Bet only on a single number (Straight bet) bets to qualify for multipliers.
  • Once all bets are off, one to five multipliers hit the roulette board.
  • If you bet on a number with a multiplier, and the ball lands on that exact number, you win.
  • For example, you bet ₹ 400 ‘or’ $/€ 10.00 ‘or’ 100 R and land a 50x multiplier. Your win is (50 x 400 = ₹ 20,000) ‘or’ (50 x 10 = $/€ 500) ‘or’ (50 x 100 = 5,000 R).
  • After this, a new game round will begin.

What is the main difference on the Auto Mega Roulette version? The main difference is that Mega Roulette on the auto roulette wheel does not have a croupier or host commentating and managing the game. Also, the game rounds on the auto wheel version are slightly faster. See more via our Mega Auto Roulette Release news.

Mega Roulette & Auto Mega Roulette Pros & Cons
Mega Auto Roulette
Advantages Disadvantages
Chance to win more than 35:1 on straight bets Lower Straight-up bet payout rate
You have the option to play an auto-roulette version  29:1 pay-out for straight-up bets
Potentially win up to 500x your bet Higher house edge on straight-up bets

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette (Playtech)

Ready for something a little different? Well, Playtech decided to change things up making this game very different compared to alternative multiplier roulette titles. There is a bonus round where you win your multipliers when you place bets on any of the inside bets. I.e., six-line, corner, split, street, and/or straight betting options.

  • European Roulette table layout (Single-Zero).
  • See our Mega Fire Blaze Roulette guide for probabilities & returns.
  • Win up to 10,000x for your bet.
Betting and Roulette Wheel Results
  • Players bet on any inside betting option, which offers a chance to qualify for the bonus game.
  • Once all bets are off, an RNG assigns 1 to 5 Fire Blaze orbs to numbers
  • If the ‘Fire Blast’ feature randomly kicks in, up to 10 Fire Blaze orbs can hit the roulette betting board
  • If you already bet that number, and the roulette ball lands on your chosen number, you enter the bonus game.
Bonus Game
  • A slot-style game will spin and collect symbols with multipliers.
  • At the end of the round, all symbols accumulate into one big multiplier.
  • The size of your win depends on the bet type that triggered the bonus.

My favourite strategy is to click on the type of racetrack bet I want to cover sections of the wheel. These are the best roulette bets for this particular game because some racetrack bet types will spread chips across the straight bet, split bet, and corner bet for that particular spin. The bet covers more of the board, enhancing your chance of entering the bonus.

For a detailed and full review of this game take a look at our Mega Fire Blaze Roulette How-to guide. It explains strategy and compares this version of multiplier roulette with alternative live roulette games with multipliers like Quantum Roulette, Who Want to Be a Millionaire, and Lightning Roulette.

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette Pros & Cons
Mega Fire Blaze Roulette
Advantages Disadvantages
Allows you to place more bets with a chance of multipliers Lower payouts for inside bets (if you don’t trigger the bonus)
Any inside bet can trigger the bonus games (increased betting options) Take time to understand how the bonus works
Win up to 10,000x your stake I would be great if outside bets counted too!

Quantum Roulette (Playtech)

Quantum Roulette offers similar gameplay to Lightning Roulette and Mega Roulette. It has the same wheel features using a single-zero and offers racetrack bets. Plus, you win multiplier values from a bet on a single number, the straight bet. As for the roulette odds on Quantum Roulette, the straight bet pays slightly less than 35:1, while all other roulette odds for inside and outside bets remain the same as the traditional game.

However, where there is a slight difference is the addition of a Quantum Boost feature.

  • European Wheel (Single-Zero).
  • 97.3% Theoretical RTP (Inside and Outside bets).
  • 97.09% Theoretical RTP (Straight-Up bets).
  • Quantum Boost was added as a feature to differentiate Quantum Roulette from similar multiplier roulette variants.

Here’s how Quantum Roulette plays out:

  • Place your bets.
  • One to five multipliers of 50x to 500x randomly hit numbers on the betting board.
  • If a Quantum Boost strikes, multipliers double, except the 500x.
  • If you have a single-number bet with a multiplier, you will win the assigned value multiplied by your bet on that number.

For complete run down on the odds, RTPs, and strategy behind Quantum Roulette, we have a complete guide. You can read the Quantum Roulette How-to guide here.

Quantum Roulette Pros & Cons
Play Quantum Roulette Live
Advantages Disadvantages
Quantum Leap increases multipliers Straight bet pays 29:1 instead of 35:1
Single-zero wheel Straight bets have high volatility
Win up to 500x your bet Playtech is not as widely available as other brands
Ultimate Roulette (Ezugi)

Ezugi was a little late to the party, but in 2023 released its Ultimate Roulette title with an entertaining circus theme. You can win multipliers of up to 2,000x your bet. Now, what makes this game attractive compared to Lightning, Mega, and Quantum Roulette is that you can win that 2,000x your bet with only a small deduction on the roulette odds for the straight bet, which is 35:1 to 28:1. Most other titles offer a maximum 500x multiplier with 29:1, so when you look at this game closer, it certainly offers value for money.

How does the game play out?

  • After all bets are off, one to five multipliers worth 50x to 1,000x randomly hit numbers on the board.
  • To qualify for a multiplier, you need to place a straight bet.
Ante Bet
  • There is an option to purchase 1 to 3 multipliers on top of the abovementioned free multipliers assigned.
  • This will cost you an additional 10% of your bet.
Additional Features
  • Neighbouring numbers can randomly receive an extra multiplier.
  • As with Quantun Roulette, multiplier values can double at random.

Multiplier Roulette Betting Strategies

  • Bankroll management: combined with a sound bet sizing betting system strategy, bankroll management has several advantages. You can read more about this roulette strategy via the Roulette Strategies guide.
  • Best Roulette Bets: Call bets on the race track are among the best strategies for playing roulette with multipliers. What I like about the neighbours’ bets on the race track, also known as French bets, is you get to stake several bet types. For example, the Orphelins (Orphans) bet gives you 1 straight bet (so you can win a multiplier) and 5 split bets with 1 chip on each with a 24.3% chance of winning. Press a single bet racetrack button to apply the chips automatically.
  • Betting Strategies: No betting systems guarantee a profit. The house edge on roulette tables is not something you can beat. However, I like the quadrant strategy because you cover 1 quarter of the numbers, and if five multipliers/bonus symbols appear all in the same section, you have a good chance of winning!

Gamble Responsibly: The best betting strategies is to gamble responsibly. Most live casino will offer responsible gambling tools. Visit the responsible gambling tools guide here to learn more.

Live Roulette with Multipliers FAQs

Why is the single-zero roulette game a better option than the double-zero wheel?

The RTP on a single-zero (French and European variants) is 97.3% (house edge 2.7%), while on the American Roulette game, the RTP is 94.74% (house edge 5.26%). The extra zero changes the payout odds. However, regardless of which variant you play, you get paid the same odds.

What alternative multiplier live casino game variants can I play?

The Evolution casino game portfolio has Super Sic Bo, Super Andar Bahar, Lighting Blackjack, Lighting Dice, and Lightning Lotto. Lighting and XXXtreme Lightning Baccarat. Playtech offers Live Quantum Blackjack and Quantum Blackjack Plus. Then Pragmatic Play has Mega Baccarat and Mega Sic Bo.

Each game offers different payout odds and bet-type options to compensate for the multiplier payouts.

Which multiplier game suits high rollers?

Almost all of the roulette games mentioned in this review offer a maximum bet of up to $/€/£ 20,000 / ₹ 40m / 9m r. However, this depends on the casino you play at. Most games I have seen have a maximum bet of $/€/£ 2,000 / ₹ 4m / 900k R.
