Another LatAm agreement as Pragmatic Play Weebet Brazil partnership sees live casino & video slots expand on the Latin American iGaming scene. (Images pragmaticplay.com)
A new Pragmatic Play Weebet Brazil partnership brings both RNG and live casino games to the Brazilian online casino, live casino and sports bookie operator.
It is the seventh deal made in Brazil in 2022, and the software provider’s 29th LatAm deal of the year, players using Weebet branded online gambling platforms will now have access to both Pragmatic Play and Pragmatic Play live casino titles.
The Pragmatic Play Weebet Brazil partnership is also the first partnership agreement in Brazil since the brand won the ‘best game producer’ award at Brazil’s BIS Awards ceremony held Sao Paulo Brazil in June this year.
Live casino games mentioned in the official Weebet Brazil agreement were live Roulette, Blackjack, Sweet Bonanza CandyLandtm and Mega Wheeltm. Players in the region will likely also connect with multiple live casino games in the Pragmatic Play live casino library such as the brand-new Boom City live, live Sic Bo and more.
Pragmatic Play is the current IGA Awards ‘Live Casino of the year’ holder, the EGR B2B ‘Casino Software Supplier’ and ‘Bingo Supplier of the Year’ winner. And in the LatAm iGaming market holds awards including the CGS LatAm Awards ‘Best Content Provider’ and Sagse Buenos Aires Awards ‘Best mobile responsive product LatAm’.
On top of this, Victor Arias, VP of LatAm operations at Pragmatic Play has won several awards in the region – Best Content Provider: (CGS LatAm Awards), Best Gaming Executive: (CGS LatAm Awards), Top 5 online industry leader LatAm (Sagse Buenos Aires Awards) and Best LatAm executive of the year (Sagse Buenos Aires Awards).

An Impressive Haul of LatAm Deals for Pragmatic Play
There have already been six major partnership agreements in Brazil this year. One of those deals was a double announcement in 2 separate months to bring live casino and then video slots to the operator’s online gambling platforms.
- Ao Vivo: A deal with Ao Vivo brought video slots and live casino games to the Brazilian brand.
- Estelarbet: A deal with an operator that will share pragmatic Play live casino and slots to members of its sportsbook and casino websites in Brazil and Chile.
- Playbonds: Another video slots and live casino agreement with an online gambling firm in the LatAm iGaming sphere that targets Brazil and other Latin American countries.
- Bet7k: Pragmatic Play already firstly closed a deal in February 2022 supplying Bet7k with its live dealer game portfolio, and in March 2022 extended that deal to include video slots and virtual sports games.
- Majorsports: This was a deal made in February 2022 for video slots. The option to extend to live casino was mentioned in the official Pragmatic Play news report, and we are likely to see news of that live casino game extension to the agreement in the near future.
Pragmatic Play has also been busy across the LatAm region in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, and Paraguay. Furthermore, a surprise partnership agreement announced last month saw the software provider expand into Guatemala. Most impressively, Pragmatic Play is now able to supply its live casino games in Buenos Aires. The brand has made several agreements under provincial licenses for the provision of video slots to Argentinian online gambling brands. Now the Pragmatic Play Live portfolio has the go-ahead.
On top of all this, in North America, Pragmatic Play has deals with Superbets in the Dominican Republic and an agreement with Mexican brand Codere has made sure Pragmatic Play has spread its wing. Both deals fall under the LatAm iGaming region due to the Spanish influences in these countries.
Could Pragmatic Play Enter the US iGaming market? I’ve not seen any mention of Pragmatic Play entering the main US iGaming markets, but in a recent report the brand did share its industry insights at the SAGSE in Miami’s The Casino Dania Beach. Sagse Buenos Aires 2022 double award winner and CGS LatAm 2022 award winner Victor Arias (Pragmatic Play Vice President of Latin American Operations) was speaking on behalf of the brand.
