SBC Latinoamérica 2022 Awards Shortlists: Live Dealer Brands in the Running

The second SBC Latinoamérica 2022 event is set to kick off in Novemer.

The event comes complete with industry awards covering iGaming and sports betting operators, affiliates, media, suppliers, and payment solution brands.

Below we’ll take a look at BETCONTRUCT, SOFTSWISS, Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Ezugi, TVBet and Playtech, which are the major European live casino brands up for SBC Latinoamérica 2022 Awards.

Overall, there are 5 main categories with 26 awards across all:

As with most SBC events across the globe, the SBC Latinoamérica 2022 will likely become the largest sports betting and iGaming awards event for the LatAm region. What’s more, this year we have seen a noticeable rise in LatAm awards events. This is as the region becomes just as important as Europe for online gambling firms. So far we have covered the SAGSE Buenos Aires Expo 2022, CGS LatAm 2022, Brazilian iGaming Summit 2022 (BiS 2022), and we still have the Gaming Intelligence Latin America Awards 2022 to come.

On top of this, over in the Americas region, we recently had the SBC Awards North America 2022 event. If you are one for trivia facts, then you’ll be interested to know that there are 23 countries in North America. However, for the time being, the majority of online gambling companies in the continent operate out of the USA and Canada. Mexico is also a rising star in the region, while the country also neatly slots into LatAm (Latinoamérica) award and expo events too. Not to state the obvious, but this is due to its predominantly Spanish-speaking audience.

When & Where is the SBC Latinoamérica 2022: On 3 November from 7 pm to 1 am, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood will host the up-and-coming SBC event. The casino is situated in the ‘Sunshine State’ of Florida, USA, where ironically enough, online casinos cannot legally operate, Twists and turns in the legislature bid to bring iGaming to the country’s third most populated state have not been easy!

Who are the Notable Live Casino Brands Up for Awards?

• BETCONTRUCT (7 Awards): That’s right, 7 awards could come BETCONTRUCT’s way. The creator of the CreedRoomz live dealer brand has become a major player in multiple online gambling verticals over the years. Awards the company could win include ‘Virtual Sports’, ‘Casino Supplier’, ‘Marketing & Service Supplier’, ‘Platform Provider’, ‘Esports Supplier’, ‘Sportsbook Supplier’ and ‘Acquisition & Retention Partner’.
• SOFSWISS (5 Awards): One of the most notable sports betting and online casino white label aggregators in online gambling today. That’s exactly why SOFTSWISS is up for 5 awards with its white label casino and sports platform and Jackpot Aggregator continuing to gain recognition. the awards up for grabs for the Austrian born company are ‘Acquisition & Retention Partner’, ‘Rising Star In Sports Betting’, ‘Rising Star In Casino’, ‘Marketing & Services Provider’, and ‘Industry Innovation’.
• Evolution [Evolution Gaming] (4 Awards): No surprises here. Evolution is a serial award-winning live dealer brand. The platform is up for 4 awards in this year’s SBC Latinoamérica 2022. These are ‘Leader of the Year’, ‘Employer of the Year’, ‘Industry Innovation’ and ‘Casino Supplier’ awards categories.
• Pragmatic Play (4 Awards): One of Evolution’s main competitors, the Pragmatic Play brand has 4 awards categories to compete in, including ‘Bingo & Lottery’, ‘Virtual Sports’, ‘Industry Innovation’ and ‘Casino Supplier’. The company has already made its mark on the continent after picking up awards in the SAGSE Buenos Aires Expo 2022, CGS LatAm 2022, and the Brazilian iGaming Summit 2022 (BiS 2022).
• TVBET (2 Awards): If you read our live casino news regularly, you will already have seen the TVBet SBC Nominee news. The live dealer brand is on the SBC Latinoamérica 2022 awards shortlists for ‘Land-Based Betting’ and ‘Gaming Product’ of the year awards.
• Ezugi (2 Awards): TVBET will be up against Ezugi, an Evolution brand, for the ‘Land-Based Betting’ award. On top of this, Ezugi is up for the ‘Casino Supplier’ of the year award.
• Playtech (1 Award): Although arguably the best all-round iGaming and sports betting company in the world, and after picking up the runners up award in the ‘Platform Provider of the Year’ in the North America SBC Awards 2022, Playtech is looking to make it a home run for the ‘Socially Responsible Operator Of The Year’ award competition.

SBC Awards 2022 Takes Place This Month

Currently, the biggest event is the SBC 2022, which is held yearly in Barcelona. The ceremony rates the best ‘global’ iGaming and sports betting companies. It also include awards for companies associated with the online gambling industry, such as tech solution providers and payment providers.
