The Stakelogic UKGC live casino licence approval will be sending shockwaves through the live casino industry.

Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech and Evolution have long been the pinnacle live dealer software platforms in the live casino online gambling space. In the beginning, it was mostly Evolution with Playtech hot the company’s heels. At the time, Playtech showed that a slot developer and sports betting brand could compete as a formidable force in live casinos.

Next came Pragmatic Play Live, a well-respected slot developer that quickly shot to fame after only opening its virtual iGaming development studios in 2016 before entering live casino in 2018. Pragmatic Play Live has been quick to make its mark in live dealer casinos.

Now you are probably wondering what all this has to do with the Stakelogic UKGC live casino licence approval. Well, Stakelogic is a mix between Playtech and Pragmatic Play. The company is an established brand with already successful video slots and online sports betting arms. This is a developer that knows what makes online gamblers tick and certainly knows how to strategically impregnate global gambling markets.

We can, with a degree of certainty, expect the Stakelogic live casino platform to push into the live casino scene as quickly as Pragmatic Play Live. And the Stakelogic team’s ambitions are already clear. It now has a UKGC licence giving its live casino games access to the world’s biggest online gambling market.

On top of this, as Stakelogic put it, the UKGC licence is the benchmark of all iGaming licensing. Any brand that has the financial backing and advanced security as well as software systems in place to gain the UK licence is one to look out for.

Stephan van den Oetelaar, CEO of Stakelogic, said: “This is a pivotal milestone on our journey to becoming the leading provider of live casino content to operators in regulated markets around the world”. See the full Stakelogic news article.

Stakelogic Live Casino Supplier Licensing

The Stakelogic live casino portfolio will stream to UKGC licenced online casinos via its Malta and Netherlands live dealer studios. Currently, the brand already holds Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and Netherlands Gaming Authority (NGA) licences.

Importantly, the UKGC and MGA licences go hand in hand with some of the brands. For example, LeoVegas and 888Casino, two of the biggest online casino, live casino and sports betting platforms in both iGaming markets will likely welcome the idea of Stakelogic live casino games joining their live dealer casino lobbies. As all parties involved hold the same licensing, it makes sense.

What’s more, is that Stakelogic video slots are already on the UKGC and MGA LeoVegas platforms. As a result, there is a good possibility we’ll see the Stakelogic Live dealer games coming soon to LeoVegas. On top of this, Stakelogic already supplies major iGaming brand Unibet with live dealer games over the MGA licenced platform. It won’t be long before we see Stakelogic join Pragmatic Play Live and Evolution in the live dealer lobby. This will also include dedicated/branded Unibet tables supplied by Stakelogic.

Stakelogic Live Dealer Portfolio: At this time Stakelogic’s game collection is rising rapidly. European Roulette, American Blackjack, Classic Baccarat, Auto Roulette, a live game show titles as well as 6 VIP Tables (5 blackjacks & 1 roulette) plus the Unibet dedicated tables are not a bad start for a live casino platform that came online only 14 months ago.
