The Las Vegas Collection Tease Video

Who doesn’t love a good tease? Especially when it concerns upcoming live dealer releases from an established live casino supplier that is under new ownership!

Authentic Gaming, the live casino brand recently acquired by the iGaming giant Scientific Games, a company that has since rebranded as Light & Wonder, has just released a tease/introduction video that suggests we have a couple of new live roulette games on the horizon. This news follows the launch of Multibet Baccarat Live just a week ago, the first live game from the brand that was not a variation of Roulette!

There is not a lot of info to garner from the 84-second long video other than it would appear that Authentic Gaming has two new live casino roulette titles lined up. Titled The Las Vegas Collection from Authentic Gaming, the teaser speaks about the entertainment value of Las Vegas, such as the nightlife, hotels, restaurants, and of course, casinos on offer.

Near the end of the video, it becomes clear that the two upcoming titles are Nightclub Live Roulette and Viva Las Vegas Roulette. Aside from the titles of the two games, we know next to nothing about the brand new live games that are coming our way. We are assuming they will have Las Vegas themes, backdrops, and styling, but it is unclear if they are standard variations of roulette or will have many new exciting features.

In big news recently, Scientific Games, the firm that acquired Authentic Gaming in November last year, has undergone a major rebranding. Although not official as yet due to red tape, the company already uses its new name Light & Wonder and has released roadmaps we can expect the developer to follow in the UK, US, and Canada iGaming markets.

Can We Assume the Latest Releases are Evidence of a Fresh Authentic Gaming Direction Under Scientific Games/Light & Wonder?

It is safe to assume that Scientific Games have big plans for Authentic Gaming. This is the firm’s first foray into the live gaming space and rather than starting from scratch with its own in-house team, the company has opted to acquire a smaller studio and lean on the expertise and experience of Authentic Games while also putting in place its own strategies.

Authentic Gaming had not launched a new title since June 2021, and with one launched last week and another two seemingly close to launching not so long after would suggest that the two firms coming together are starting to yield results. What was noticeable about the first launch, Multibet Baccarat, was that this was the first Authentic Gaming title that was not Roulette. Coincidence or is Scientific Games/Light & Wonder looking for more innovation, variety, and creativity?

Personally, I feel Scientific Games has sensed an opportunity to enter the ever-competitive yet increasingly growing live casino sphere and is ready to go at it hard. Scientific is a big brand in the iGaming industry and will know of the potential of diversifying its iGaming products, especially when live casino games now represent over 30% of all online casino wagers placed.

You only have to look at the live casino suppliers coming onto the scene in recent months to know that live casino games are gradually becoming the casino game of choice online. Stakelogic Live, On Air Entertainment, Beter Live, and Swintt Live, are just a handful of new suppliers looking to make their mark in this sector.
