A Polish version of TVBet’s PokerBet live dealer game has been a success in the country’s regulated iGaming market. The strategic victory could well lead the brand to extend the number of live dealer games created specifically for the country’s licenced online casinos.

If that happens, it means committing more space in its current live casino studio to cater for Polish-speaking tables, game shows, dealers and croupiers.

TVBet is a growing live casino brand with a unique platform that offers players an all-in-one window to navigate across multiple live games. It was also seen as a newcomer to what has been the fastest-growing online casino verticals over the past two decades.

However, the newbie label is now no longer applicable as TVBet has established its unique live dealer gaming product surpassing half a decade of delivering engaging live dealer gaming across the globe. Earlier this month the company made yet another notable move after announcing it will now be serving online casinos in the Polish market.

That’s no small feat considering the country’s population is nearing the 40 million mark, and pre-covid reported some of the highest GDP growth figures in Europe. Unfortunately, those impressive GDP figures have fallen dramatically, and how quickly the Polish economy will recover post covid remains to be seen. So why has such an experienced live casino platform decided to make its move into a market at a time when the economy is at its lowest of the millennium?

The answer is obviously within the TVBet business strategy, and we can make a reasonably educated assumption about some of the company’s tactical planning within that strategy. In Poland, TVBet has taken a different approach to your average company looking to do business in the Eastern Europe EU member state – one that has retained its domestic currency the Polish Złoty (PLN) – just to add that in if you enjoy the small details!

Its Polish ambitions to move into particular iGaming markets are not random. And in the case of Poland, it was not the country’s unfortunate floundering GDP that would dissuade a move into its iGaming market. Rather TVBet made showed us that it makes rational decisions based on market trends relevant to the industry it operates.

Case and point, the iGaming market in Poland is defying the downward trend the country’s Covid-stuck GDP has so drastically suffered. Instead, the TVBet bigwigs see potential, and if you look closely enough, Poland’s iGaming potential is staring us all in the face.

What could come next? The current TVBet live dealer game portfolio includes War of Elements, Blackjack, Andar Bahar, JokerBet, Teen Patti, Live several bingo/lottery games, as well as live wheel of fortune games. Thanks to the current success of PokerBet, it is possible regulated Polish casinos will pen deals with TVBet to bring some of these games into the market.

Polish iGaming Facts—Growth Rates Match Those of the US Market

The Polish Gambling Act came into effect in 2017. Just 2 years prior the iGaming market took in €110 million in 2015. 2 years after the Gambling Act came in, the market rose to €1.82 billion (2018). Fast-forward another 2 years and by 2020 it recorded a worth of €5 billion.

The only other online casino markets that report growth figures close to this amount are those in the US, and we would need to combine them. That’s Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, and Connecticut with a combined population that is roughly the same as Poland, and even then, these figures do not reach €5 billion.

Granted, many of the US markets are much less mature than the Polish market, but not by much when you consider Delaware (2012), New Jersey (2013), Pennsylvania (2019), West Virginia (2020), Michigan (2021), and Connecticut (2022) are not that far behind. Another point to make is that it is virtually impossible to gamble at illegal/unregulated casinos from the US, or at least very difficult, while in Poland citizens are free to sign up to 1,000s of online casinos based around Europe with MGA or Curacao licenses.

Where can Polish players play TVBet Pokerbet? Current casinos regulated under the Polish Gambling Act include Etoto, Noblebet, Betclic, LVBet, Fuksiarz, Superbet, and Forbet all host TVBet’s poker game with Polish-speaking dealers.
