While most of you will know blackjack by its official name, in some countries it’s also known as ’21’ or ‘Pontoon’. For that reason, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the formerly named 21Bet from TVBET was, in fact, Blackjack. Well, while the popular live casino title drew similarities with Blackjack, there were some major differences.

This has now changed, as TVBET has announced that it has made the strategic decision to update the game to bring it closer to the original casino card game that is famous all over the world. As part of those changes, 21Bet is now called Blackjack.

Aside from the name change, the game now uses a full 52 cards rather than the 36 used previously. The latter had all 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s removed and used a different points system. The 6 to 10 offered face value points while the Ace was worth 1 point, the Jack 2 points, Queen 3 points, and King 5 points.

Like blackjack, the winner was the player that got closest to 21 points without going bust. However, rather than a blackjack (21) instantly winning, the top had was a Golden Point, which consisted of two aces.

In the new updated version of the game, the game is now designed to offer similar gameplay to standardised blackjack rules. it used a full deck of cards and the original points-scoring method.

New Casino Content from TVBET: This iGaming live casino provider is always looking to enhance its collection of live titles. Whether this is through updating games such as 21Bet or releasing new titles such as Andar Bahar and Teen Patti, the firm is always striving to create entertaining live table games for its army of global fans.

TVBET’s Blackjack Still Has Unique Features

While the newly updated version of 21Bet has brought it closer to standard blackjack, it still has unique elements that allow it to stand out. This includes how the game is played and the betting options available to players. You do not play directly against the dealer and instead, bet on the outcome of the hand. That means an unlimited number of players can take part. The players take no action in the hand, as it is all controlled by the live dealer. The dealer first deals two cards to the player and one to the dealer. She/he then deals cards to the player’s hand until it reaches 17 – 21 or goes bust. If the former, the dealer then does the same for the dealer’s hand. As for the betting options, these are closer to those offered by baccarat. You wager on which hand you think will win or whether it will be a tie. Other betting options include betting on blackjack, or a win by a certain amount of cards or points.

If you’re yet to try it out and love blackjack, you might want to give it a run for its money. TVBET has given its own spin on a popular game, a spin that could appeal to many of our readers.
