TVBET has revealed that Emily Asava, its Business Development manager in Africa, will attend the BiG Africa Summit, which is taking place between the 8th and 9th of February.

The live casino development company has a strong presence in the South African iGaming market, and the BiG (Betting & iGaming) Africa Summit, organised by Eventus International, will allow the company to discuss many hot topics regarding the online gambling industry in the country.

One of the iGaming industry’s biggest events of the year, the summit will attract industry experts to discuss topics including the innovations and certification compliance, content localisation, and the strategies that iGaming firms can use to gain access to the growing market in South Africa.

The event will take place at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg and will run for two days starting on the 8th of February this year. It will be the eighth edition of this annual event and will allow South African stakeholders to exhibit their products and services while networking with other operators and suppliers.

Other major names set to attend include representatives from Parimatch, Casumo Casino, William Hill, Gaming laboratories International, and Pragmatic Play. Emily Asava is one of the featured speakers at the event alongside Solomon Godwin, the Senior Business Development Manager for Africa at Pragmatic Play, GAM Elite’s founder and CEO, Keith Hathaway and many others. This year, the BiG Summit is sponsored by BetConstruct, NascentEdge, Elite Executives, MelBet Affiliates, and Emirat.

All attendees will benefit by gaining knowledge and insights from industry leaders, learning about the current iGaming climate in the country, meeting and networking with industry peers, discovering new technologies, and discussing industry trends. One hot topic sure to get discussed is the impact that COVID-19 has had on the gambling industry in Africa over the past couple of years, and future strategies on how operators and suppliers can cope with the pandemic moving forward.

A Bit More About Emily Asava

Despite getting involved in the iGaming industry just three years ago, Emily Asava has quickly gained and developed the skills that have allowed her to rapidly progress her career. She started out as marketing coordinator at the Nairobi-based Millionaires Casino before joining TVBET in her current role as the Business Development Manager for Africa. Her main role is to develop TVBET’s brand throughout Africa by building brand awareness, establishing new connections, and forming new partnerships. TVBET has placed a big emphasis on creating a strong presence across Africa in the past few months, as evidenced by its recent partnership with Bitville Gaming.
